[when everyone is agreement, the snake is back on top of the sigil. Berries have been passed around to everyone who wants them (with snake looking very unsure if someone wants? to off themself a different way???), and holding one for himself on the tip of his tail.]

Okay, if you're all ready. . .before you eat your berries, everyone touch the sigil. If you don't, you will just uh, die normally.

After that, make sure at least one of you is clutching the artifact, and swallow your berries.

And in this space, there is Nothing. your flock is here with you, but you're nothing but a spirit--though, the collar one of you clutches seems to keep you all somewhat solid. The snake is there with you, though his form slithers into Vash's sleeve, staying hidden.

You can see the spirits of other sheep here too, some idly forming before blending into the nothingness.

But there is, one Something:]

Confrontation

[When the snake disappears, Bluebell is left in the void. It is only them, and the swirling, confused, agonizing mass of lost souls, begging for peace, for rest, for lives lost, regrets pouring out as wails of despair. The world itself seems fractured, distorted--where one stands one moment, may not actually reflect reality.

However, She is still there. But split, in three.

One wolf, ears bound, cries out:]

HEAR ME, mortals! Our sister suffers! She cries, but the tears do not reach Me. Why must She suffer alone? What story is being told?!

[The other wolf, muzzle bound, whimpers. She wishes to yell but cannot. And yet, her thoughts can be felt by all:]

Speak to me, mortals! Why is this happening? Is this the fate of Our Sister? Would you curse every soul of this realm for your own selfish desires?

[Finally, there is the third; a black wolf of shadows. Her bindings lay at Bluebell's feet. Instead, strapped across her neck is a snake like talisman, the collar having transformed into an ouroboros. A massive red eye sits upon her forehead--for a moment. A burst of dark energy, and it disappears, shooting upwards(?), leaving behind a vortex of darkness as the wolf laughs hysterically, erratically. Is she crying, or howling?]

WITNESS ME, MORTALS. WHAT VALUE IS THERE IN YOUR LIVES? YOU CHAIN ME, BOUND ME, BUT I AM STILL FREE. RUN, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES, I WILL CHASE YOU ALL FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES. THERE WILL BE NO MERCY!!

[The wolves are in pain. Despite having died, you feel a strong sense of self. You could return to the mortal realm, if you wish.

But you must choose.]

[You can't see anything, and your eyes adjust to the light. Or rather, the Nothing. This is still the realm of death.

You see the heads and throats of three wolves. One blind, one with ears tattered, the last their muzzled scarred and fangs broken. A suffocating, snake like collar binds all three of them.

A gentle, but hesitant pair of hands reaches out to them. Human? Not quite. But maybe? It doesn't matter. They pull at the collars. They pull, and pull.

The collar comes loose, as the hands disintegrate.

The visions fades, and Bluebell will find themselves once again floating in the void. Death lays there, whole once more. Ears, head, and muzzle bound again. . .though, there is still a swirling black vortex above. The souls have not been put to rest. Should they try to return to the living realm. . .they can't. Something is blocking them now. Something is wrong.


Death slowly rises. Despite the bindings being put back in place, you can tell.

Her Third Eye is missing.

A weak whisper escapes her.]


The serpent. . .has My sight. They must finish what was started, on the moral realm.

[Phew arms all a bit hecked up from collar zaps, but I guess now we have nothing to do but try to gather ourselves. Did the collar remain? He isn't sure if the tale about it being an old artifact contained some truth... (but that vision?)]
