Well. I thought if the poison killed you all, perhaps it would kill the snake. I think it was immune. It didn't seem to... be affected, at all. I tried to touch the shadow and... then I died.

I am sorry, Perci. Not all plans work as expected, in execution...but I do not think the serpent quite knew what it contended with, either. Even if you could not physically kill it, perhaps we can interfere with it here.

Neither am I. I didn't think my failsafe would actually work since I can't cast any magic, but it seems I'm still immune to poisons nevertheless.

There was another fighting it before I died. Perhaps they were able to interfere with it as well.
