OLD NPC CALLOUT POST HERE

NPC CALL OUT POST

Here, if an NPC isn't around in a post in a main comm, you can hit them up for quests or general questions!

BLOSSOM

Unless noted here, she can be found practically anywhere within the pasture, usually with a big book or trying to help or pacify sheep. ETA as of day 100...she's around! Just her reactions and/or helpfulness may vary.

Stormy
???
He is not as visibly present as Blossom, and may brush you off! But if Blossom is around he's usually Some Where, even if it's not obvious. ETA as of Day 104 Stormy is unavailable! Sometimes. He might still pop up, just not as you know him.

Daisy & Coco

Shop Info
The recently reunited Bell Sisters have upgraded their shop!
Daisy provides all dairy for the Pasture, so you have to ask her if you want anything like that, especially ice cream! She can make other sweets too though, and is also the resident Potions Expert. Note: Currently Daffodil has exclusive access to her butter supply, and Clover has exclusive access to her cream. If you want any of these items, you need to ask them! Rose also knows where to find natural spices/tea (currently: Saffron, Macha, Rosemary, Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg, and Cardamom)

Coco now provides the pastures with Rations! ONCE every IC week, a flock can spin the wheel to see what rations they get--but they have to do a mini quest for them! Don't worry Coco's quests are always silly and easy. As Daffodil's priest, they also get to spin the wheel after every game for a freebie.
Public Wheel
Daffodil Wheel
People can also ask for occasional quests for Pre-made foods (like a whole pizza), but it will depend on the time and reasoning!

Red

Red's shop is open from sunrise to sunset! He's more than willing to chat and barter. Do not try to talk to him at night.
As of Day 92, Red is Officially Thistle's priest! Thistle can get massive discounts on items if they so choose.

The Snake

The Snake is a mysterious little entity with a grudge against Blossom! He will only willingly appear for Weeds, but others may have a chance to glimpse him. . .

???(Vera)

Vera is the Priest of Rose! She is very devoted and will do anything for her rosebush. She lives within the Rose barn currently, so you would need Rose's permission to talk to her/interact--especially for her unique power!
If she bites you, she can inflict a random time related status effect! It can last anywhere from one hour to one day! Spin the wheel to see what you get!

???(The Lady Demon)

Lily's former priest, turned demon after an [incident] with Blossom in the past. She'd cast away her past life before becoming intrigued with the new iteration of Lily, taking an offer to become their priest once more. She has a more demonic form but often takes the form of a small sheep in a hat. She is the only priest capable of traversing outside the fence safely. While fond of Lily, she is very fickle and flippant toward other flocks and wolf-kind especially.

(???) John Deer

Formerly a young 'gem deer' stag thought to be the son of Jim Deer, John was actually the sole survivor of a small ruined pasture, and taken in by the Earth Spirit out of empathy, and transformed into a spirit. Now with some of his past unlocked, he acts as Bluebell's priest. He as the ability to bless Holy Artifacts to make navigation in the mist easier, and pieces of his antlers can be used as such. He has the attitude of a sulky teenager though, so he won't always comply.

(???) Sham

Clover's former priest that ran away in shame when he couldn't make good on a bet to save his flock when he made a deal with the Gambler demon. A soured drunkard, he has been living away in various sanctuaries over the the last [xxx] years. He's now been forced back into his role as priest as 'payment' for the debt he owed the Gambler Demon. Once a week, he can change Clover's various fruits into alcoholic wines. He, however prefers beer and hard liquors.

RETIRED - NAYTHAN (Charlie)

Naythan is supposedly a priest from a ruined pasture in the mist. After calling for help, characters accidentally on purpose made him a horrible zombie body, so he is constantly falling apart. His memories aren't totally clear, but he still has enough power to make small Deals with residents. He can be found vibing in Peony's garden or staring blankly at Blossom from a distance. ETA DAY 96 Naythan's true form has been revealed and he is living in the Wolf City with Ceo, wowie!

To call out an NPC, just comment with the time and day and you'll receive a response!

HERD MENTALITY, SHEEP RITES, and Item Regains

So what is Herd Mentality?
Herd Mentality is the power that restores life to the pasture! It's flocks cooperating together to build a cohesive identity to influence this world and the sheep within. It is also the main way for characters to furnish their barns and get new outfits!

OOCly, this is the main IC motivation for characters to interact with their team! Off team CR is also more than encouraged of course, but as a team game, it's important to play and interact with your team!

What Counts as Herd Mentality?
Any sort of cooperative team interaction and group activities, OR Sheep Rites! This includes but isn't limited to hunting quests, playing games together, gardening, silly group activity posts, etc. Herd Mentality doesn't have to be conscious either; it's entirely okay for things to count as HM even if the character didn't intend it to be so.

What are Sheep Rites?
Sheep Rites are specific themed activities teams can do for herd mentality; a flock's specialty Rite is listed on the Flocks page! For Rites specifically:
1) To count as herd mentality, 2-3 flock members need to participate in the rite. However, the bigger the item you are are trying to manifest, the more teammates you need. (example: just getting more clothes? 2 or 3 people. Wanting a nice king sized bed for everyone or a whole ass basic security system? 5-6 members. Tap me if you’re not sure!)

2)Other flocks can participate in your Rites, but won’t earn anything from them.

3)Flocks can still gain herd mentality from other tasks (like a group hunt or a group boss fight), these are just some solid activities they can do anytime that count!

OOC Info here!

What can Characters Manifest with general Herd Mentality?
Furniture, decor, additional outfits, accessories and small trinkets are all okay for characters to create on their own! The item will just poof into existence where it needs to be! Example: Bluebell wanted a piano, so did some group bonding and bam, piano get.

If performing a Sheep Rite, you can also earn low grade personal and barn upgrades (like soundproofing or locks and such). If you perform a BIG RITE (like a whole ass party post or something), ping me, as you may earn a Special Thing.

What items can we get from RED?
Go to Red if you want any sort of reliable WEAPON, TOOL, OR SPECIAL ITEM FROM HOME.
You can also handwave getting any trivial, inconsequential item from his shop including: writing utensils, markers, notepads, glitter, gum, etc.

What items cannot be regained via NPC quests?
Generic pets, food, and clothing! Neither Red nor the others will give players pets that non-canonical (so you can't say can I get a cute kitty cat), though they can go out and tame wild animals if they want. Food also is off the table (aside from small non-substantial candy from Red's shop), and clothing can just be earned by characters themselves.

How Can We Upgrade Our Barns?
Major housing upgrades can be won via games OR by asking Red, Blossom, or Stormy for a deal/quest. These will usually be more involved than normal item quests!

What about New Buildings?
If asked, the mindless sheep will build a TEMPORARY version of any recreational building you could ask for; for example, say your character wants to do a skating party for, some fucking reason. The sheep will build a skating rink for them, all accessories included, so it can used for the skating party post. However, after a few hours ICly, it will disappear/crumble.

Also, emphasis on 'recreational!' They will not be able build anything remotely useful, like food establishments, or a laundry or spa building.

New PERMANENT locations will be added as the results of games won! And those CAN include more useful buildings. More on that as it develops.

What about the Fountain Coins?
The prizes regained via Fountain Coins will vary depending on the game! But they will typically be more valuable, and include things like the above, getting new buildings and such. However, no matter what, you can always still use your coin to share memories.

Are there ANY other food sources?
Daisy knows where to find all the specialized resources in the pasture! So you can ask her for salt and such. She also provides all dairy for the pasture and will barter it for work.

SOMETHING I MISSED? ASK AWAY.

GENERAL
Wild Herbs and Spices
Location: All over Wetheram Forest, the Meadow, and near the Lake
Descrip: You can assume general basic (wild) herbs can be found all over the forest and field, including: dandelion, asparagus, wild onions, sage, chickory, ginger root, and edible flowers for teas. The only important exception to this: there are no other berries or fruits outside the pasture aside from specifically named ones. Many wild vegetables can be foraged as well, but more specific ones (like corn, rice, etc) can't be found. Note: No nightshade plants whatsoever can be found in the meadow or forest, aside from the Pepper Pods, which are made up anyway.

Field Mice and Song Birds
Location: Meadow and Forest
Descrip: Basic ass birds and mice! It's VERY hard to catch the birds but you can eat a mouse if you want I guess.

Freshwater Fish
Location: Lake
Descrip: Nondescrip freshwater fish! Tasty, but bony. Can eat the bones if you cook them enough though. Sometimes if you're lucky you might find a blue lobster. That's not a fish at all.

Ocean/Beach Stuff
Location: Beach/Ocean
Descrip: Any small/common salt water fish or critters can be found at the ocean and beach, along with occasional sea gulls too! You're free to find sea shells and sea weed too. However, no large creatures such as sharks or dolphins are present. Notably, crabs are rare, but sheep-crabs are common.

PLANTS
Cattails
Location: Lake
Descrip: Me Want Bite. Weirdly, these plants are very solid and fibrous, and taste like bakery bread.

PepperPods
Location: Forest
Descrip Edible peppers that range from sweet to horrifically scalding depending on their colors: Blue is super sweet, Green is just pleasantly sweet, Yellow is mild, Purple is hot, Red is Ghost Pepper levels.
The plants themselves looks nothing like normal pepper plants, and in bunches of 2ft pods, that will spritz out pepper juice defensively if they feel threatened.

Sunflowers
Location: Meadow, Forest
Descrip: Sunflowers are just that--sunflowers! They are large and pretty and have edible seeds, and behave much like real sunflowers, but with one big difference. They can be flashlights! By twisting the middle of their stems, they emit a light that mimics sunlight. Many predators in the forest will actively avoid this light! Once plucked, a sunflower light can last one IC week as long as it's not on all the time. You can extend the life by replanting it.

HunnySuckles
Location: Forest
Descrip: Deep in the forest--about an hour walk if you know where you're going--is a huge grove of honeysuckle plants. Their nectar mimics thick honey, and is highly nutritious and delicious. The flowers themselves are also edible and sweet tasting. However, it hunts magical creatures; if your character has any supernatural elements whatsoever, the vines will sense this and start draining their energy. In the center of the the grove is a massive toothy flower that will also physically try to eat them as well.

Characters with zero magic ability or supernatural elements are completely immune to the honeysuckle and it cannot sense them at all, so they can safely harvest the flowers. Sheep powers also don't seem to count as 'magic' to it.

Limbus
Location: Deep Forest
Descrip: A strange plant deep in the forest, just beyond the honeysuckle, that secretes a fluid that can be molded into any body part needed, organ or limb. Even if the mold isn't perfect, the part will reshape itself to become suitable. Some sort of meat or protein must be mixed with the fluid for it to work. The fluid itself can be transported and does not expire.

If replacing a limb, the limb can be either appear as it had before it was removed, or you can add plant like aesthetics to it as bonus (such as leaves or a vine or such).

Sometimes bulbs can be found. If eaten, they scream! But they will also heal you 100%. If you eat them and you aren't injured however. . .hope you like body horror.

Wolfsbane
Location: Mist (rare)
Descrip: A rare purple plant that grows sparingly in cliffside areas in the mist! It is the only known (non-lethal) cure for lycanthropy. Though there are several flowers on one plant, the ENTIRETY of the plant must be consumed by a wolf to cure it. The plant can also be boiled and brewed into a tea as a preventative measure if someone is infected by has not turned yet. The tea can serve up to four people safely. Note: If you aren't infected with lycanthropy, the plant is extremely lethal if ingested. It also cannot be replanted or regrown/cultivated in the meadow or pasture at this time.

FAUNA
Scisters
Location: Forest primarily, Lake occasionally
Descrip: A medium sized bird with a sharp metal beak and metal protrusions. They are highly territorial and their beaks are sharp enough to slice through wood and flesh easily. Their non-metal feathers are also deceptively sharp. Their eggs resemble small, metal shotputs.

Their feathers and metal bones can be used to fashion all sorts of weapons and tools, including daggers, swords, scissors, etc. Characters can weld them themselves or ask Red for help for fancier stuff. If the eggs are boiled, they also become malleable, and can be molded into weapons or bullets and such.

Or the eggs can just be eaten like normal eggs. They are rich and tasty. It just takes some effort to get through the shell. The bird meat tastes like really flavorful chicken.

Jim Deer
Location: Forest
Descrip: Deer that live deep in the forest. Stags have massive antlers made out of several precious metals and gemstones, does have eyes made of gems, and fawns have gems for spots. All Jim Deer have gemstone front hooves that can be removed, revealing human like hands. The stags especially like to grapple.

Their hooves and bones are as hard as diamond, but if you can manage to break through their skin, their organs are delicious. Their hands are the tastiest parts though.
Jim Deer are no longer interact-able or found in the forest! Turns out it was a god, oops!! However, if your character is ever lost in the mist for a long time, if they call out to Jim Deer, they will be guided back to the meadow. This only works for LEAVING the mist, and only for those truly lost.

GatorDawgs
Location: Lake | Forest | Beach
Descrip: Forest - Gatorlike creatures that are reptilian in nature, but have bodies that resemble corgis, with massive jaws and heads too big for their bodies. They opt to stay submerged in swamps to ambush prey. Since their legs aren't equipped for running long distances, they rely on dragging prey into the swamp using tendrils that shoot from their jaws.

Lake - Gatorlike creatures that are reptilian in nature, but have bodies that resemble dobermans, with massive webbed claws. They opt to stay submerged by muddy shores to ambush prey. GatorDawgs near the lake tend to be more cautious but territorial, and won't chase prey to far from their turf.

Their claws and fangs can be fashioned into very formidable weapons. Their meat is gamey but tastes best as bbq.

Pygmydillos
Location: Meadow
Descrip: Somewhat of a mix of boars and armadillos, these pig-like creatures come in a variety of sizes, and are generally very passive herbivores, but ones with bigger tusks can fuck you up if you're not careful. They tend to burrow into the earth when resting to disguise themselves as rocks, and are frequently hunted by the lake gator dawgs. They are extremely delicious, and their horns and hooves can be used to make weapons. Their shells can be used as shields or used for leather.

Shyder
Location: Forest
Descrip: Canteloupe sized sheep-spiders. These fluffy arachnids are numerous and all over the forest, and are responsible for keeping the forest in tact, repairing any damage they come across with their threads. They are usually gentle and primarily eat decomposing animals and plants, but will swarm and devour creatures that get too aggressive at them.

Shyder silk is extremely durable and versatile; it can be used to enhance clothing, repair broken items, or as assassin piano wire. Neat! The fluff surrounding the shyders is made of the same material.

Poisson Doot Froogs
Location: Lake (Rare)
Descrip: an amphibian(?) that lives in the lake, but it's extremely hard to catch, and even rarer to find. It secretes a potent poison that can cripple a person with fever and chill like symptoms, and a larger dose can be fatal. however the secretions of the blue areas create a trippy hallucinogenic affect. gator dawgs are immune and can sometimes be found licking them on rare occasions. The only way to find them is listen out for a faint doot doot.

Lilywogs
Location: Lake, but generally anywhere there's sufficient moisture/water!
Descrip: Lilywogs range from the size of a baseball to the size of a volleyball depending on age. They're generally very playful, friendly and relaxed... until threatened, at which point they take on quite the transformation, growing at least four times in size with substantial muscle gain to put the hurt on whoever fluffed around. Hobbies include floating in water, singing frog songs, and stomping out pictures in the mud with their feet and tails.

The flowers on their lilypad-like features can be harvested without harming them, and comes with a number of uses- from tea to syrups to candying, or even making dyes- but their meat is pretty oily. They gain energy from sunlight and eat fish and birds.

Puppets
Location: Deep Forest, Mist, Wasteland
Descrip: A rare but disturbing small creature with a body seemingly made of wood, but a starfish like head with a center lined with fangs. They are fairly weak on their own, and hunt but controlling larger, unsuspecting predators into doing their bidding. They rarely kill their hosts, but have on occasion puppeteered threats into dangerous situations in order to get rid of them.

Tree Shadows
Location:
Wastelands, Mist
Descrip: Shadow-y like creatures that like to inhabit hollow, dead trees and logs. No one knows what their real bodies look like. They attack using long, shadowy like hands to grab their targets and sling them around--at best, they might just chuck you out of their territory. At worst, they'll try to drag you underground or into the mist to consume your soul.

Wolf Wisps
Location:
Meadow, Forest
Descrip: Little willow wisps that float around resembling wolf heads. If you touch one, you may either recall a painful, sad or upsetting memory, or you will just start crying uncontrollably for no reason. Otherwise they are harmless, but you wouldn't want to get touched by one while on a stealth mission.

Gossip Hounds
Location: Anywhere a shadow can be cast.
Descrip: Shadowy poodles that only ever appear in pairs. Look for them on walls, in the surface of water, and also they will just pop up and be 3D Guys right when it would surprise you. They will parrot snatches of conversations characters have had around the Pasture to each other, snickering and barking about it in a way that feels distinctly like they're always making fun. It's not necessarily always just the linear conversation. They can kinda do the Michael Bay Bumblebee Thing.

At the end of the day before the sun completely sets and their shadows are no longer cast, Gossip Hounds are at their most common, replaying the day's Greatest Hits. The vibe is 'Utena Shadow Puppets But Dogs.'

Shabs (Sheebs. Creeps.)
Location: Beach
Descrip: Crab-like creatures that skitter about the beach. They are both cuddly but angry, and will try to pinch you. However, they taste delicious--a mix of mutton and crab. They come in all sorts of colors that reflect the flocks.

Forever Snake
Location: ???
Descrip: A "holy beast" per Daisy. No one has seen it in full yet, but they drop scales that reflect the truth.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

WHAT IS UP?
This is a primarily PVE game that will have some elements of pvp--mostly (hopefully) as a natural result of in game relationships and NPC fuckery. That said, my main focus is just building an environment that encourages different character relationships, development, plot, and some general fun.

But also I love some fucked up shit so be prepared for that occasionally!

By playing in this game, you are consenting to the fact that sometimes your character will get fucked up and die, or will be fucked up by RNG or other mechanics! You are also consenting to the fact that "sometimes Ash will just spontaneously do wild shit." I will usually give a heads up when big things are happening, but will also try to pull out some Surprises. That said, I promise I'm not gonna pop into your emotional make out threads and like, shoot your character or anything.

APPING AND ACTIVITY
Activity is 50 comments a month by ways of at LEAST 2 threads! HOWEVER, I reserve the right to pull a player aside--if I see you showing up just for games and big events but never threading with your teammates? You might just get booted.

No seconds are allowed at the moment! Neither are PG or CRAU. STARTING FRESH. OCs are allowed but canon OCs will be allowed on a case by case basis (IE Pokemon trainers vs WOLs). If I reject your character it's just because I think they might be a bad fit, not because I don't like you I promise!

While apps are open to almost anyone, if I find that a good number of players have 1) opted out of interacting with you or 2) you have been invited by someone I'm not close with, I may not accept you into the game, both for my sake and yours.

DISCORD
While you don't need to hang around the Discord 24/7 (I sure don't and I'm the mod!!!), it is required for you to AT LEAST join your Team Chat. Many of the IC games/rituals require quick real-time ooc coordination with your team and right now that is the most ideal method for doing so. Additionally, the Player Comfort list is posted in the Discord for security, so you'd need to join to read/update that!

PLAYER CONDUCT
Like, we're all 20+ here, right?? Most of us are 30+ now?? Please be normal, we're all here to play our anime Barbies.
-Keep an IC/OOC divide
-If you have a problem with someone, go fucking talk to them before you tap me. I am not here to be a guidance counselor.
-God/Infomodding is not cool
-While NSFW and sex is allowed, please keep anything explicit to your personal journals and off the comm!
-Do not harass, ship push, or otherwise bully people I swear.
-COMMUNICATION IS KEY. As this is a team game, please try to keep your teammates in the loop, being aware that IC actions have IC consequences!

If I catch you doing annoying shit you might get a warning or you might just straight up get booted. I don't know! Don't make me do it!

MOD STUFF
Your mod is me, Ash!! Just me! I am doing this because I had an idea and thought it'd be fun! At the end of the day what I say goes rule wise but hopefully I don't need to make up any other rules?? In general:

-I reserve the right to boot a player from the game for any reason I deem necessary.
-I do not care what you might not deem fair, please I work a full time job and have a 401k I'm just trying to have a chill time with friends here.
-I will try my darndest to keep things on a schedule but I am a sleepy bitch.
-If you need to contact me please do so either by email (masterofmon at gmail) or dm me in disco. I am also on plurk but I might miss private plurks.
-I am EST!!! If you need me I am mostly consistently available on weekdays 7pm -11pm EST, and whenever the fuck on weekends.
-If you do not like how I run shit please do not feel obligated to app. Make your own game! You can directly steal this whole premise! Most of this I stole from Imeeji and Sabra!! BE FREE, DO WHAT YOU WANT.

THE FLOCKS
Each fenced off area is home to a different flock! The starter 'barns' for each flock just contain a shit ton of hay and six individual rooms with beds. There's a portapotty outside that somehow opens into a fully functional bathroom (sink, tub, shower, toilet, etc) and contains basic necessities like a toothbrush and such. Under each mattress (or closet, eventually), team members will find up to three new outfits, not counting whatever they arrived in. Barns can/will be updated as time goes on!

For each flock's field, their meadow is peppered with their namesake flowers, a pond of fresh water, and a singular big fruit-bearing tree like in Animal Crossing. Additionally, every barn contains a crystal sculpture of their team flower. When characters arrive, they are powerless! You receive your sheep powers and rites (and your canon powers!) after touching the flower. Additionally, if you ever want to seal away your powers, just touch the flower again to do so.

BLUEBELL
Aesthetic: Main colors are various shades of blue, jeans, and oversized sweaters, shirts, etc. Think Comfy Casual.
Fruit Tree: Blueberries. Yes I know shut up. [+raspberries, strawberries]
Boons:
- Heal: Via kissing; amount depends on type of kiss. Hand kiss, less healing, kiss on the lips? MORE HEALING.
- Mental: Cast spells that briefly make people fall in love and can calm angry feelings
- Utility: Now kiss; able to forcefully move/redirect another person/their own momentum
-Love Love Beam: Turn people, or yourself into a plush toy (that can still move). It only works on one person at a time. If not aimed at a living being, it instead briefly turns the immediate area it hits into a super cozy aesthetic corner decor-wise. May be fired from a tattoo on your tummy.
RITES: Flirting, Matchmaking, love themed games, love bombing.

DAFFODIL
Aesthetic: Spunky Summer. Citrusy or sunset colors, leggings, shorts, tank tops, sun hats, etc.
Fruit Tree: Lemons [+ oranges, limes, buddha's hand]
Boons:
- Heal: Via happiness; a strained smile will yield only small healing, but laughter or genuine happiness will heal more.
- Mental: Cast spells that make someone laugh (lightly or uncontrollably, think Joker Gas) or give an energy boost
- Utility: Light Space; Able to manipulate a bag that expands/shrinks in size, light to carry around, and can be hidden inside via light manipulation
- Sunny Day: Able to generate light and heat to mild or intense degrees. They can make their whole body warm and be a living kotatsu (and optionally glow too) or they can concentrate the heat to a single point. When condensed to a single point, the heat becomes a laserbeam of light, though regardless the light is no stronger than what a sunflower could produce.

RITES: Jokes, festivals/parties, party games, gift giving

LILY
Aesthetic: Main colors are neutral colors, breezy and loose silky clothing. Depressed Drapery. Dresses, long blouses, lounge clothes.
Fruit Tree: Peaches [+ plums, cherries]
Boons:
- Heal: Via tears. A single tear drop will heal minor wounds, ugly sobbing will heal major wounds.
- Mental: Cast spells that manipulate the physical appearance of things (basically illusions)
- Utility: Poltergeist; able to summon a spirit that can be controlled/interact with inanimate things only. Yes they are dead sheep.
- Ghosting You: Become intangible at will. This allows them to avoid damage that requires physical contact, but also renders them unable to interact physically with anything until the effect is cancelled (this also includes using other magic). Intangible people hover along the ground by default rather than falling through it. A Lily can use this on up to two people at a time, for up to an hour (though no time limit for themselves). This power cannot be 'spammed.' Once turned off there is a 15 minute cooldown before it can be used again.
RITES: Therapy, vent sessions, confessions/anon chats, advice

ROSE
Aesthetic: Suits and Style. Tuxes, business suits, prom, reds and blacks anything that looks good with a rose.
Fruit Tree: Red Apples [+ granny smiths, golden delicious, pears, pineapples]
Boons:
- Heal: Via blood; The severity of healing depends on the amount of blood consumed. They have to drink others blood, and to heal non teammates, the person has to drink blood from Rose.
NOTE: For Rose only, when they need to drink blood, their canines will turn fang-like! Player preference on if it's permanent or only during healing.
- Mental: Cast spells to manipulate (enhance) emotions, barring Love.
- Utility: On the vine; capable of controlling vines that can also be thorned.
- False Rose; Can temporarily take possession of a living creature -- up to 15 minutes for a sentient being, 24 hours for a non-sentient being. Non-sentient beings wills are weaker, and can be possessed easily, however sentient beings must give (IC) consent. The exception to this is if the target is in a vulnerable fit of negative--sad, angry, etc--emotions, and can be possessed by force (with ooc consent). When possessing someone, the target will briefly take on a trait of the possessor as a tell-tale sign, or be wearing a rose corsage.
RITES: Debates, gossip/spreading rumors, dramedy, theatrics

THISTLE
Aesthetic: Practical punk. Ripped jeans, fishnet, dark and purple shades. Stylish but you can still lay on the ground and not feel silly.
Fruit Tree: Figs [+ dates]
Boons:
- Heal: Via pain depending on severity. A light pinch will heal less than punching someone in the face.
- Mental: Call attention to themselves/silence people around them
- Utility: This(tle) Bomb; Able to control a ball of razor-sharp thistle thorns, individually or as a group, can be summoned from surrounding plants.
- The Bouncer: A reflective counter attack; absorbs the power aimed at the user and redirects it back in equal force without the user taking harm. The attack/reflection itself can take on a form unique to each Thistle. When not used in direct combat, the reflection can instead be used as a body or stunt double for small tasks. It will be dispelled once hit by a strong force or used to counter.
RITES: fights, competitions, speeches, art/graffiti

CLOVER
Aesthetic: Sporty Street style. Stylish sweat pants, jackets, bodysuits, shades of green.
Fruit Tree: Green grapes [+ red seedless, cotton candy grapes, kiwi]
Boons:
- Heal: DICE ROLL. Summon dice, the heal strength equates to the number rolled.
- Mental: LADYBUG. Reverse a recent action (ooc flip a coin, if heads you're able to change the outcome of the situation)
- Utility: WISHBONE. Inflict good or bad luck on yourself or a target.
-TREASURE BOX: Roll the dice (1d10 oocly), while summoning a melee, ranged, or defensive weapon, and one will appear at random. If not the one they wanted, the user must wait five minutes before re-rolling and giving up previous item. Said item can be used all day/until its restraints are met and it will disappear : Item List Here!
RITES: Pranks, gambling, games of chance, surprises, wish granting (helping ppl)

PEONY - RETIRED
Aesthetic: Funky Farmwear. Chic cowboy or cowgirl style, jeans, hats, or Old West/Prairie style, etc in pink shades
Fruit Tree: Pomegranates [+lychee, dragonfruit]
Boons:
- Heal: Via Monologue; the more or faster you talk, the more you heal.
- Mental: Yeehaw - Turn yourself or someone else into a horse for 5 minutes. No other animals, only horse. Alternatively give yourself temp useless horse-like traits, be it ears or cravings for carrots.
- Utility: Gunslinger. Create a fingergun and you can fire one of three bullets: The Good (small bursts of energy pellets that range from tiny harmless and at most annoying, to strong enough to maybe knock a man off his feet), The Bad (create a portal to any spot in the pasture you've been before, however, the portal only stays open for as long as you keep the fingergun position) or The Ugly (Once per day, you can nullify *ONE* power of any target for five minutes. Using this bullet renders your other bullets inaccessible the rest of the day).
RITES: cheerleading, bragging/boasting, crowdsourcing, storytelling, team chants
The only thing left of Peony is a field of flowers and a pomegranate tree!

NOTE FOR ALL TEAMS: Shoes/footwear can be whatever and magically you will not slip on grass even if you're wearing dress shoes. Unless you want to cuz it's funny.

SO WHAT'S THE POINT OF FLOCKS?
Blossom is big on herd mentality!! Every time your flock does something together (whether it's just a general post or messing with another herd with a teammate), it helps her get more powerful!! Something something magic bullshit. If you want something specific, like a better fucking house, going out and doing stuff with your team or using your powers are the fastest way to get it. The NPCs will also give out individualized requests if needed.

DO I HAVE TO STAY WITH MY FLOCK?
Short answer, yes. Long answer, just for fun shit like wanting to sleep over with another character, no, but staying away from your team for days will eventually give your character a creeping sensation of dread and lowkey feel like some brainwashy stockholm syndrome. It's fine.

HEALING SEEMS LIKE A CHEAT?
It levels the playing field!! However, there are SOME restrictions:
-Healing is not a fix all! For example, if you break a bone, it will need to set correctly unless you want it to heal all fucked up like.
-Likewise, healing will NOT re-grow limbs. You'll need to find some limbs to be reattached if that happens!
-Healing is also not a cure all for poisons or certain status effects, so have fun with that!
-Healing still works in the forest, however, it is weaker, and you'll only be able to heal minor bits until you're closer to the Pasture.

WHAT ARE SHEPHERDS FOR??
Shepherds are special team members! Their bells will always be tied to their staffs. Aside from the special notes below though, they are just like any other sheep/team member.
-Shepherds do not need to sleep! They can if they want, and they can get tired eventually if you wish to play with some sleep drunkness, but it's not a requirement.
-Shepherds also instinctively know where all their teams are at any given moment, and are the best at tracking them down if they want.
-Shepherds also are responsible for Good End drops/wishes!
Note: Shepherds don't necessarily have to be team leaders ICly, they can act as support! Play with the role as you see fit.

SO WHAT'S HERD MENTALITY?
Herd Mentality is what powers the world and gives both the NPCS and PCs strength! The more you do with your team the more your characters will benefit, including:
-Team activities can summon clothing/furnishing should you need it (ex: a team just doing a silly activity together)
-The stronger the bond with your team, the longer a sheep can stay away before stockholm feelings set in their heads
-Things that increase Herd Mentality includes general team posts, activities, and hunting/gathering together!
-From an ooc standpoint it's just an IC excuse for characters to make posts and interact with others.

Apping guidelines

To pass an activity check, characters need a minimum of 50 comments across at least 2 threads. A check in post will be posted near the end of every month, and that's pretty much all the warning you get. HOWEVER I reserve the right to scrutinize AC: if I see you scraping by every month and not tagging your team or only showing up to snipe traumatic events? You might get the boot. Please keep this in mind before apping!

Who Can Be Apped
Any character you think would be appropriate! I will tap you if I don't think the character would jive for whatever reason. Also, no PG or CRAUs at this time; however full non-rp AUs of characters are A-Okay.

If I know you or am at least aware of you or you are a friend of a friend chances are you are good to app!! If I am like ???? SEEMS SUS I will simply tap you to confirm who you are before accepting your app.

You can currently app onto a flock OR a weed!

APPS
11/26/23 APPS are open, HOWEVER--THERE WILL BE *NO* FLOCK PLACEMENTS UNTIL JANUARY NEXT YEAR, EVEN IF A SLOT IS OPEN. This is to give current players time to settle. Any apps will go into a queue. Thank you!

The app is pretty straight forward:
Your name/Who are you: LET ME KNOW WHO YOU ARE. If I don't know you let me know who referred you!!
Character & Canon Name:

Big version that's easier to read
Go here for SETTING INSPO and Vibes!

Woolietown is where all the tiny sheep live, and also where players can hang out! Points of interest include:
-The Fountain
-Cafeteria
-Theater and Rec Room (+Arcade | +Library)
-Lighthouse
-Laundromat
-Lazy River
-Athletic Center
-Greenhouse (+ Mist)
-Wood Workshop
-Clinic (+ Lab)
-The Bounce Field
-Weeds Clubhouse
-The JailHouse
-Coffee Station
-Red's Shop
-Daisy's parlor.
-Daisy's Maze
-The Beach
-The Hot Springs
-The Community Theater
-Dream Daycare
-Wastelands
-The Lake
-The Forest
-The Mist
-Notable Player Additions

Note:There are also a bunch of other smaller shops in WoolieTown, but they are sheep sized so players can't get in. Daisy is a cow and thus her parlor is people sized, and Red is a Big Sheep. Additionally, while all chairs and books and such are functional in the rec room, they may sometimes feel slightly Too Small as they were not made for humans.

More info below!!

The safe pasture is where all the sheep and players preside, surrounded by a huuuuge fence. . .from the sheep's perspective. It's only like, five feet high so player characters can easily climb over it or open the gate. But it does its job and keeps things safe! Each team area is also surrounded by a three foot high fence which..players can also step over.

OUTSIDE the big fence however is wild open meadow!! Players are free to discover anything they wish here--want to find some mountains? A ditch? A dangerous hole full of flesh eating worms?? I'm not sure why, but go for it.

But the main points of interest are the lake and the Weatheram Forest. The lake connects to a river that provides each team a small pond and fresh water, but no fish. If you want fish, and possibly want to discover other creatures, you have to go to the Big Lake itself.

The Forest also houses lots of monsters, creatures, AND resources. Aside from the lake, it's also the only place players will find reliable creatures to hunt for food.

At NIGHTTIME it's more or less the same aside from some nocturnal creatures, but it should be noted that there are two moons in the sky every night.

There is a deep, thick MIST that also surrounds the land; it doesn't cross over into the Pasture, but it covers everything beyond the meadow and forest. Wander too far in it, and you will eventually loop back to the meadow, if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, you may get attacked by Something.

The Rundown

Welcome to the Pasture (Sheep Game), where the focus is CR building and character development!

This is a team based game, which means every character apped is sorted to a color coded Flock! When characters wake up, before they can react, they will find themselves being thrown into their appropriate barn by a bunch of sheep.

The Flocks
There are currently 6 flocks! Daffodil, Bluebell, Lily, Rose, Clover, and Thistle, members wearing Yellow, Blue, White, Red, Green, and Purple collars w/ bells respectively. More info on flocks here!

Every flock has an area with a fenced in flowery meadow (peppered with tiny sheep dyed their team color), fruit tree, and a barn that serves as the team hub. Each barn holds 6 rooms, (3 on the bottom, 3 up top), a main living area, and a connected portapotty that somehow serves as a fully functional bathroom. Currently, every single room is full of hay. Hay up to your knees. This can change based on Team Participation!

Teams are free to move within each others meadows and other areas, nothing stopping them as the fences are exactly three feet high. Actual sheep seem to have trouble with that, though. Maybe other teams will try to stop you though!

The bells every team wears are unable to be removed, no matter the effort. The bells also have the effect of making every character feel far safer when more of their team is around.

Shepherds
Shepherds are a unique brand of team member! Their bells are not around their neck, but rather, tied to a shepherd's staff they will receive once waking up. Only one shepherd can be apped to a team!

The purpose of shepherd will be revealed at a later date, but they have three distinct "powers" that set them apart:
- Shepherds can locate most Sheep if they are lost or have wandered too far off. Very helpful in emergency situations, or if they feel like bugging their teammates.
- Shepherds do not need to sleep. They can still get exhausted, however, and probably should, but if they wanted to go on a 3 day baking spree they can also do this. This is probably not healthy!!
- [A SURPRISE]

If you app as a shepherd but eventually want to hand it off, you can! Your team will just need to decide who should be the new shepherd oocly and I will handle it.

OKAY, BUT WHAT DO WE DO?
JUST RELAX AND HAVE FUN, EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE!! ...well, that's what Blossom says. Every character has free run over the overall meadow, and access to Woolie Town.

There, the sheep have prepared as much as possible to keep their new guests cozy. However, they are sheep and thus, stupid and every place is not yet Great. There's a movie theater, though mysteriously every actor is now a sheep. There's also a mysterious shop, and an ice cream parlor. . .though, you can read more about those on the NPC and Locations page.

Don't forget the cafeteria! Have to keep everyone fed after all! Except, well, these are sheep. The only things they know how to make are salads. Greens, greens, greens. Occasionally there are clovers. Every character has access to the kitchen itself, but they won't find anything in there but more grass and lettuce.

Basically, characters will find themselves starving and living in a pretty crappy barn for a long while if they don't take matters into their own hands.

Events and Games
Sometimes, due to Magic or IC Consequences, games and events will happen! These can range to scheduled games for a few hours, or month long tasks/themes to interact with. Along with having to hunt/gather food, events and games will be the primary method to better your lives in the pasture!!

There is no dedicated 'arena' for games to happen, but more on that when shit starts happening.

The Big Fence
There is one more fence surrounding the entire Pasture, one no sheep dare to step over. . .mostly because they can't, as it stands at a whopping 5 feet. Wow. For player characters, climbing or opening it is an easy task.

Beyond the fence is a vast lake, a great wide field, and a dark forest. Blossom has said Mythical beings called "Farmers" used to hunt for their own food out there, and meditate by the water with a ritual they called "Fishing." If they want actual food, they'll have to go out and find it.

But be warned, the Big Fence was built for a reason. Beyond the forest and across the lake, misty clouds can be seen in the distance, and no land can be seen through it. Getting too close is dangerous, Blossom warns, and staying out can be b-b-bad! Well, there's plenty to explore and discover as is, so no need to go poke it, right? Right. Of course, should they stay out regardless, characters may find their bells starting to ring on their own.

So why go out?? Well, if characters want more food and resources, they HAVE to go explore, so have fun with that!

You wake up in a dreary, cold room, body aching, head spinning. . .no, wait. It's actually the opposite. You're laying on your back on a patch of soft, sweet smelling grass, with the sound of cicadas and grasshoppers whistling in the distance. The sun is bright, but not harsh, gently beaming down, coaxing you awake.

As you stir, you hear a jingle, a ringing. It's coming from you! Sitting up, bringing a hand to your neck, you'll find a collar, one with a simple bell attached to the front. Tug all you might, it can't be removed. Weird, right? There's a quaint little pond near you, the water conveniently crisp and blue. Inspecting your reflection, you notice the bell is a very distinct color. For whatever reason, you feel that's pretty fitting of you. . .

. . .

You? Wait, who the heck are you?

As you sit there distracted, wondering why you can't recall your name while every other detail of your life is crystal clear, two little creatures wander up. They are sheep, one pink, one black.

"O-oh, oh! You're awake! I'm so sorry, this is all a b-b-big mistake!" "Baahaha! You say that every time! Whatever, whatever, we'll fix it, let's not dawdle!" "O-oh, okay, you're right. Come now, you need to meet your flock!"

Are you still dreaming? You probably feel like it. There's not much time to think on it it though, as the two sheep take advantage of your confused state, taking your hand and leading you away.

SHEEP GAME is a. . .sheep game. It is a character driven team-oriented game with both dark and comedic elements. The name of the game is character development, CR building, and world development and that's what these sheep are pushing. There is an over-arching plot that will be revealed as the story goes on!!

(POSSIBLY) FREQUENTLY WILL BE ASKED QUESTIONS
[POPULAR TOPICS]
HERD MENTALITY | ASTRAL PROJECTION | DEATH

GAME VIBES

Is this a memory loss game? Why can't my character remember their name?
Yes and no! The only thing a character is required to forget is their real name/name they go by in canon. If you WANT, other aspects of their life can also be forgotten (such as their role/job/an Important Event)! All other aspects of their life are retained perfectly. If a castmate apps, they will suddenly have forgotten their name, too.

As for why, game wise it's for plot reasons. OOCly, it's fun to make up nicknames for teammates.

What's the Game Tone?
Pasture is a free-form team/character driven game with a lot of freedom for spontaneous events to happen while also having an underlying plot with DARK elements. The push is for PVE, some mild pvp, and survival though, but with a bit of a comedic brush.

How long does this game plan to run?
That will depend on the playerbase to be honest! I have it worked out where this game can run anywhere from 3 months to 2 years. Here's hoping for the latter!

My character is not a human! Must they become a human for this game??
No! Your character can come as they are, whatever they are. However, if they are like, a fucking giant, please max out their size at 10 feet, or whatever can comfortably sleep in a house.

Will there be Trauma Games?
80% of the reason I'm reviving this is because I want to run new fucked up games and events, so yes.

So how do Events/Games works?
Basically, events and games are held anywhere from once a month as game wide event, to mini events! By participating in posts or events like these, your team earns boons and rewards!!

Later, players will be able to run their own events/games, but typically most mod-events will be a week to a month long to allow for engagement from everyone! SOMETIMES plot-specific events will happen at a scheduled time, but I will be sure to give as much heads up as possible. However, sometimes spontaneous stuff may happen! My goal is to have a good mix of free-form long term events AND some smaller scheduled games.

How are teams/herds sorted?
It's a mystery. That said at the moment, in your app, please let me know what does and does NOT work for you, and I"ll make sure you're on the comfiest team possible!!

I am not vibing with my team! What do??
If you've tried and your team isn't for you, you can drop and reapp the character fresh/no memories on to a different team! You can also transfer to another team by becoming a Weed.

A problem player is doing something oocly!! What will you do about it!!
Well first, you gotta let me know. Just PM this account or tell me UN-ANON what's going on and give me links/support, and I will handle it accordingly. Communication is super important here, especially since it's a team game, so let me know what's going on.

A problem CHARACTER is being a problem ICly, but it's starting to have negative consequences and not in the fun way!
Welp, firstly, remember IC actions have IC consequences! That said, if a character is ICly giving others a hard time and starting to become a burden to their team, your pal Stormy has a way of dealing with that. We will deal if it comes up and the characters aren't able to resolve the situation ICly.

I specifically have a little problem with another player though this does not impact the game on the whole nor does it impact my playing, the team, or anyone else, it just bothers ME, PERSONALLY!
Talk to the other player before coming to me I freaking swear. If it escalates, we all can sit down and chat like adults. I am 30+ years old I don't have time for petty shit.

Is sex allowed???
I mean. Yes?? But at any given point you will have a bunch of tiny sheep watching, bleating, and blushing at you unless you're in the barn. Heck even then some sheep may interrupt you. And do you really want to try that on hay or grass???

That said, if you're really set on it, go for it, but no sex is allowed on the comm. Take that to your journals, buddy.

MECHANICS

What is Herd Mentality?
Herd Mentality is what powers the world!! The more you do with your team, the more it helps power the world! The sheep citizens are empty husks that need to learn from the people brought here. Also, doing activities with your team enables you to summon items such as new outfits or furnish new rooms you've earned via upgrades. More on this HERE

Where are games held?
There is no dedicated space for games, though will always start within the Pasture. After the first game, whenever one starts, a field will be created 'reboot' style, and anyone caught within that field will be participating in the game! This is to create a opt-out excuse for not wanting to be in the game or missing it and whatnot.

What is the IC motivation to win games/events though??
Those will vary for each event! But winning games will primarily effect the setting in different ways. For example, there is currently no proper revival mechanic in game. Sure would be convenient if winning a game created one, HINT HINT. Additionally characters will also be able to win items from home via the games.

How do upgrades and item regains work?
There are no points based purchases in the pasture--everything is based on deals! Basically, if you want something Specific, you have to ask a NPC and get a quest or a vague task to help create it. Additionally, Blossom will explain that the area is fueled by HERD MENTALITY as mentioned above, so doing lots of stuff with your team will also net you some bonuses!

Basically, if you want to upgrade your barn - get a deal/quest from Stormy/Blossom/Red
Item from home - get a deal/quest from Red
Outfits or furnishing current rooms - Team Activity to summon items.

I want X building to exist! Can it??
Yes! As long as it is not something essential/something that will make getting resources easier (ie food places, clothing stores, laundry, etc), if you want a building to exist, the sheep citizens will build it into (temporary) existence for you. As a general rule, most entertainment buildings are a-okay; skating rinks, spas, a park, a theater for use for a post, etc.

How does time work?
At the moment, the game will operate on flex time, with roughly 3 days = 1 IC day. This is so time isn't passing ridiculously quickly, and allows for backdated posting. Also bear in mind the world does NOT reflect real time whatsoever, so while there may be occasional holiday themed posts, there is no Christmas or Halloween or New Years and such in the Pasture.

IS THERE A NETWORK/PHONES?
No phones, but there is ASTRAL PROJECTION!! Which is just a fancy way of saying two way radio via spiritual avatars. More info in that post and the ooc post linked to it! Additionally, with astral projection, characters can share dreams via dream posts if people feel like doing so.

I want to have a hunting thread!! How do Playable NPCs work?
Once a creature has been revealed to the world, you're free to NPC them at will (OR TAP ME and i will npc them for you). You can do this by including their action in your own comments, or simply logging into the NPC account (log in will be provided later) and playing them that way. Whatever is easier/more fun.

If you'd like someone else to NPC something for you, that is fine! Just give a shout to a friend and let them take the wheel, or if need be, give me a poke and I'll run the thread for you. The only NPCs this is a no no for are the non playable ones over in the NPC list area.

What happens if you die?
Death alternates between being permanent and reversible depending on the Eye--see information here! If they die while the eye is open, they will be trapped in a hellish void, tortured and reminded of past regrets and transgressions. Then they will disappear into Nothing and find peace if their soul isn't fished out when the eye is closed.

How do Power Levels work?
Everyone maxes out at a level 30 cap! Which is to say, a normal person may punch a tree, and go ow, while Goku could punch a tree without hurting himself, but he's also not going to uproot the tree. Basically, strong characters will still be strong, but more like a step above 'badass normal' than supernaturally so.

Some special events may alter this tho!

Are Canon Powers allowed?
Yes!! See above re level capping tho. However, special items are NOT allowed, or rather, you'll have to do quests to get them back. So things like Visions, magical gems, pens, etc?? You can function but you gotta get a quest to get that shit back if you wanna have your powers proper.

My character is a Vampire/Zombie/Whatever what do??
Idk man that's not my problem have fun making negative or positive cr with other people.

Is there a way home and/or how does dropping and reapping work?
Blossom is working hard on finding a way to send people home!! That said, if a character drops and reapps, they do in fact, go home for a bit! Faintly remembering their time as a weird dream. For permanent drops, characters will have to option to simply disappear (Blossom will confirm they were sent home, and there will be a way for characters to check) or they've gone into the Mist. What happens there??? Also a mystery.

For hiatuses, a character can just go get lost, or will be sent to the sleeping sheep pile. Don't worry about it. The drop/hiatus post is HERE!

WORLD INFO

Are the sheep like, actual sheep?
All the sheep are stylized mini sheep, most standing at about 2-3 feet tall. There are exceptions, and those will be noted when they appear.

Can the sheep talk?? What do they do??
Aside from Stormy and Blossom, the sheep citizens do not talk! They are very stupid, mostly empty husks, and will mostly stare at you with dumbfounded reverence. If something is needed (like wanting to build a building) it can be assumed the sheep are helping. Otherwise they are basically useless and they will watch you fuck if you let them.

What happens if you eat a sheep?
Mutton is delicious. Blossom will cry and ask you to stop eating the sheep citizens, and if you keep doing it Stormy will kick your ass.

How do Blossom and Stormy ping?
Very magical very secret. Just normal sheep here, don't worry about it.

OKAY BUT WHERE DO WE GET FOOD??
The ONLY food available in the pasture includes:
-the fruit that grows on your team tree
-grass and kale and iceberg lettuce in the cafeteria
-random small (snack sized) misc candies that can be found/bartered at Red's shop, think gas station or conbini style junk food.
-Plain ice cream, milk, and butter from daisy. The ice cream doesn't even have vanilla flavoring, but she generally knows where to find resources.

To find more varied food you will either have to forage/hunt outside the pasture or talk to Red/Daisy to get special shit (read: canon stuff) imported.

My character is starting a garden!! How long does it take plants to grow??
For playability sake, it takes one OOC week for most foods to grow/replenish! Two weeks for super rare, more complicate plants/foods, which I'll indicate if they come up.

Note, WEEDS do not have normal AC; instead link me to a posts or threads where you're causing trouble.

A hiatus can be claimed for the month, but must cover at least 2 weeks to properly waive AC. Most hiatus cannot be back to back, but exceptions can be made. We all tired and the last couple years have been Hell, I understand. But since this is a team game please bare in mind active teammates make a happy team!

There is no Strike system, so if you fail AC, you will have to give up your spot and drop and reapp. Reapping is simple! How simple?? Just comment back to the app page like 'YO IT'S X LET ME IN.' Obviously if Life or something really bad happened, just tell me, and you can get a pass without taking a hiatus. However, based on activity, I reserve the right to ask you to wait a month or so before being placed again.

To pass AC, simply comment below to your Team's Header for the AC Month! Include your character's IC or OOC name in the subject, and then a link to threads. If you are super lazy and just link one post, that is fine I'm going to count your threads myself anyway lol. Just get 'er done!

WEEDS
Lost souls that have been summoned or corrupted by the Snake with the power stolen from Death. They’re tasked with disrupting harmony in the pasture. They can participate in games but have no obligation to do so. In special games they may be divided up and placed within Flocks to sow discourse in their discussions.

Aesthetic: Every WEED wears a black collar with no bell. They have no real aesthetic, however, all their clothing, even those they arrive in, are tattered and ragged.

Boons:
-Healed via insults and anger. Light or petty insults heal less, while really digging into someone heals more. The angrier they make someone the better. It also gives them a bit of an endorphin rush.
-Mental - Zone of Truth. Other characters can’t lie in their vicinity when activated, or they can force others to say ‘rude’ truths. Must be activated consciously, it is not always on.
-Defense - Kudzu Wall. Weeds can summon a temporary shield of clear kudzu that envelopes them; if just shielding themselves, this can last up to 15 minutes. If shielding multiple people (up to five) it is a one use shield and has to be charged up again (basically don't spam it/it can't be used consecutively).
-Utility - PICK TWO OF THE FOLLOWING
~Gravity Manipulation. Can make objects heavier or lighter, or use it to propel themselves around (fly).
~False Storm - Make mini storm clouds; can rain on on a person, strike them with lightning (never fatal unless like, repeatedly electrocuting them), call up small gusts of wind, et.
~Shady Business - Can travel between shadows or hide/be invisible in shadows.

ACHILLES HEEL
Weeds will all have ONE MAJOR WEAKNESS. Weed players will be asked to pick a secret Trigger word (and characters will know this word innately). If any shepherd speaks the word, the Weed will be compelled to obey them for a short period of time. It’s a big weakness but the trigger words will always be ICly secret, it is up to players on how they give out clues for others to figure out their trigger words. Or it can be something extremely stupid or obvious if you want your WEED to suffer.

Weeds also do not have an official hang out. They will have to either earn lodging via Deals or find flocks that can put up with them to crash with.

Requirements for apping a Weed?
-BE OKAY WITH CONSEQUENCES and eventually possibly getting got by one of the Flocks
-Be willing to shit stir that’s it.

Most importantly: A/C DOES NOT APPLY TO WEED CHARACTERS. The intent of Weeds is to be able to play a character for a short time if you want to cause trouble, voice test, or be an instigator for others. This is also the TRANSFER mechanic of the game. If for any reason your character needs to transfer to a new team, they will become a corrupted WEED, and lose their current flock powers for a month, wandering as a stray WEED until a suitable new flock has been found for them.

Additionally, if your only character is a Weed, you can become a secret 7th flock member!! Wow! See below! Wait, 'only' character? That's right, you can app a WEED as a 2nd character!! But if they are your second character, they can NOT be transplanted on to a normal team. [2nd Character Weed Slots will open July 1st]

WEED FAQ

Do they have to be an asshole or villain?
No but ideally they are a type that at least like to stir shit. You don't have to play a VILLAIN VILLAIN, even just a silly guy that likes to tease people or play pranks is fine. They will be compelled to DISRUPT harmony sometimes ICly because of the Snake's influence.

No AC? No problem!!
Well hold on there--even tho there's no AC, I expect you not to just squat with your WEED. If they are not actively bugging people at least sometimes, I will politely ask you to boot them. They are supposed to be trouble makers after all!

What if my WEED dies?
The snake will revive them. . .if Death's Eye is closed. If they die when the Eye is open, welp, you're dead for good--snake is not going to go out of his way for you. If they are able to be revived but their body is not available, they will temporarily possess a sheep.

Oh no my Weed has gotten attached to other characters!
That is fine!! I also want weeds to have CR! It is totally okay for them to favor some characters and needle others.

Oh no I’m REALLY attached to my Weed and want them on a real team!
ALSO FINE. Weeds can be ‘reformed’ and ‘replanted’ onto a Flock they have gotten attached to. They are the secret 7th members!! So even if a team is full, you can be put on it via Weeds transplant!

However by betraying the snake, their powers are swapped to whatever flock they transplant onto, and also can Never Physically Harm their Flock, even in play fights. That said, transplanted weeds do get a physical Power Boost whenever protecting their team members.

Transplanted Weeds will also have their collars transformed into appropriate collared bells. The shepherd can also issue a command Once a day that they will be compelled to obey.

Ash are Weeds just the Sheepdogs?
Shut the fuck up.
