Note:There are also a bunch of other smaller shops in WoolieTown, but they are sheep sized so players can't get in. Daisy is a cow and thus her parlor is people sized, and Red is a Big Sheep. Additionally, while all chairs and books and such are functional in the rec room, they may sometimes feel slightly Too Small as they were not made for humans.
More info below!!
The safe pasture is where all the sheep and players preside, surrounded by a huuuuge fence. . .from the sheep's perspective. It's only like, five feet high so player characters can easily climb over it or open the gate. But it does its job and keeps things safe! Each team area is also surrounded by a three foot high fence which..players can also step over.
OUTSIDE the big fence however is wild open meadow!! Players are free to discover anything they wish here--want to find some mountains? A ditch? A dangerous hole full of flesh eating worms?? I'm not sure why, but go for it.
But the main points of interest are the lake and the Weatheram Forest. The lake connects to a river that provides each team a small pond and fresh water, but no fish. If you want fish, and possibly want to discover other creatures, you have to go to the Big Lake itself.
The Forest also houses lots of monsters, creatures, AND resources. Aside from the lake, it's also the only place players will find reliable creatures to hunt for food.
At NIGHTTIME it's more or less the same aside from some nocturnal creatures, but it should be noted that there are two moons in the sky every night.
There is a deep, thick MIST that also surrounds the land; it doesn't cross over into the Pasture, but it covers everything beyond the meadow and forest. Wander too far in it, and you will eventually loop back to the meadow, if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, you may get attacked by Something.

GREENHOUSE
Made of sturdy glass reinforced with metal, the structure has enough space for teams and weeds to all have a section to work in. There's a little A/C box that magically allows for temperature and climate control for any potential plants that don’t normally grow well out in the meadow (but no wolfsbane will grow no matter what). There’s no automated lighting though, so if you're looking for something specific you have to rig something clever with sunflowers/magic/etc. probably.
There’s a little pond in the middle which is just aesthetic right now, but can be useful if you want to transplant plants from the lake or other bodies of water that show up.
There is a cute floral sign outside that says "Courtesy of Lily." But wait, there's more! It seems like there are some plants growing in the greenhouse from each Lily's homeworld:
LANTERNBLOSSOM
Converts nutrients into magic before storing them inside its body. When it blooms, it releases all of its accumulated magic power at once through the flower petals, causing a beautiful if short-lived glow.
SLIME PLANT
Looks like a forget-me-not, but the entirety of the plant is slightly glow-in-the-dark and slimy and can be boiled down to make mana potions. You can add fruits to make the potions fruit-flavored.
NIGHTFALL LILY
A 2 ft tall shrub that flowers at sunset through the night; its flower is violet with 5 petals fading to a red center and stamen. Dried petals and stamen, when steeped for 3 minutes, produce a dark red wine-colored tea that tastes strongly of stewed or jammed cherries.
RED GERANIUM
A type of geranium with bold, lightly-scented red flowers and green-and-brown striped leaves. Highly decorative, the leaves can be used for tea, and geranium essential oil has multiple uses if you can gather enough of it.
HOLLY BOYS
A small group of shy, weak monsters who hide among the other plants, self-propagate at the same rate as normal pasture plants, and die if removed from the greenhouse. Each is about the size of a human hand; handle with care as they will try to headbutt, prick and mildly poison you. Same uses as American holly, and their debarked stems are delicious if pickled.
SLAPPIN SUNDEW
This large plant grows clusters of wiggling vines that can reach up to 3 feet from the plant and are covered in soft, sticky fibers. It secretes a natural glue that it uses to capture any insects (or careless sheep) that fly close enough for its sticky tendrils to whip into them. Thanks, Poison Ivy.
JAPANESE MEADOWSWEET
An attractive shrub with five-petaled pink and white flowers and a very sweet scent. Has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used as a digestive aid and mild pain reliever. The pollen can be used for flavoring.
Note: none of these plants can be replanted outside of the greenhouse!
The OTHER GreenHouse
If you venture inside, you'll find it, well. Mostly dead aside from the mist wolves. But there is soil in there. . .you'll find that plants like potatoes grow far faster in it, along with possibly other plants if you try experimenting.
Oh there is one more plant there. Mandrakes. If you pull them out by their heads they will scream. Depending on your defenses (ear plugs, distance, etc) if you hear the scream it could cause temp deafness or even insanity. Fun!
Otherwise, just a normal Greenhouse. Ish. Don't get bit. The plaque outside reads Courtesy of DAFFODIL.
no subject
The ones aimed directly at the greenhouse entrance are always on, and will be changed out regularly as they drain.
