HOW TO PLAY BETRAYAL ACCORDING TO SOMEONE WHO ONLY VAGUELY KNOWS HOW TO PLAY BETRAYAL:
Betrayal as adapted to teamnesia is something like a roleplay board game! It is dependent on stats and dice rolls. For Stats, pick one of these CARDS as your beginning stat range. The X indicates where your stat number starts at for each category! It may increase or decrease as you play depending on Hazards and Items you pick up.
When an instruction says to ROLL [STAT] do so using the discord dicebot, Xd3-X. For example, if you need to roll Sanity, and your Sanity is currently at 5, you would roll ".roll 5d3-5"
If you are rolling for an item and the instructions say roll a d10, use the d10 bot or just a rng 10 dice on the internet, I don't care which! Honor System.
Sheep Game Tweaks
The main twist of Betrayal is when any of your stats hit zero OR you are outright killed via one shot KO or another character, you become possessed!
If you sanity break or die in a Pink area, you will be possessed by a Wolf Spirit.
If in a White area, you will be possessed by a Demon Spirit.
If in a Black area, you will be possessed by a Ram Spirit.
There may also be events that make you insta-possessed. Ping Ash if you hit any of these scenarios (or I will ping you if I see it) and will let you know if you have been got uwu
Because of the time limit of each round, if you DO die, you can make the choice of:
1) just immediately getting possessed, and your wounds heal up on the spot. This will probably be a Red Flag that you're possessed tho.
2) The character's body disappearing and reappearing possessed in your starter area!
Once possessed characters are free to move thru the areas and aren't affected by any new status effects or rolls.
Also they will be murder happy so that's a thing.
