[Unfortunately for Cres, she was in the process of pulling the trigger again when he said that, so there is a bullet flying again even as the gun falls.

[The bullet flies. The bullet flies true. With a roll of a 2, he only has enough time for his eyes to widen in alarm... before it strikes him in the chest. The shock and alarm on his face are palpable for a split second, before his body tips backwards and he falls.

He lies on the ground, blood soaking his chest and shirt crimson as it gurgles in his throat. How did it become like this...? A couple of tears trail down either side of his cheeks, before the gurgling stops as he takes his last breath, and his head tips to the side.]
