[uh oh THE MAN is coming down the alley--by which I mean two humanoid wolves! One is wearing a mask, the other is just a fucking furry. They call out, seeing the crowd of people:

Hold there, what are you all doing--wait, what's that smell? That thing. . .

2 - CITY CREW

[so with THAT distraction, as long as their hoods are covering their faces, those staying up top can slink out, for now. If they look back to the sky, they'll see something like a firework--the little bat making its escape.

But no time for that now! YOU MADE IT FOLKS, YOU'RE IN THE SANCTUARY. And there are, more people here than expected. The area is still a bit grey and lackluster, lacking the lush fields of the pasture and meadow, but it's not the Mist. Most people are wearing masks, and though some are clearly furries, some look near human--aside from tell-tale signs like a little tail or ears or horns. Wait, horns?

Yep, some people have sheep features it looks like. Hell, some ARE actual little sheep. . .but, their colors are that of flocks not seen in the pasture normally. Huh!

Anyway, most people seem to be in a hurry, some lining up to receive supplies and food, others taking a moment to just breathe on a bench, happily chatting with their neighbors.

After all this time I thought there wasn't any safe place left. . .

Same, especially after our pasture fell to the King.

Do you think they got the nightmares under control. . .?

Just little snippets like that. So while most of the city is grey, and most buildings boarded up, the air of attitude isn't totally somber.

That said! There sure is a fancy looking semi-sky scraper office building up ahead. Wonder what that's about!!]

Spinel does pause, once it's safe to, to get a good look around. But once they'd have their fill of overhearing conversations, she glances at the others and wordlessly cants her head to the side—time to move somewhere where talking won't get them into trouble. ]

[ He's definitely taken aback by the amount of normal, humanoid creatures inhabiting this "sanctuary", observing the sheep in particular as he sticks close to Spinel and Lyra.

He gives her a curt nod, shuffling along with his head down, hood up, and as inconspicuous as possible. Just minding his own business over here. ]

[Zenith will note the sheep look pretty okay!! There IS one color that they may recognize though. Here and there, they might see a peony-pink sheep.

There are plenty abandoned shopfronts! They can likely duck into one that's all boarded up.

If Lyra stares too hard tho she WILL start getting looks though--or at least maybe they're looks? It's hard to tell what with the masks and all.

Hannya and Narrah reach the bottom quickly--but missed the security measure on the ladder. A gas starts hissing into the tunnel! However, Nue will come across a switch of sorts on his slow descent. It's hard to see in the dark, but hey, a wolf wouldn't need to see it.

ROLL 1D10. If lower than 6, CONGRATS, YOU'RE FURRIES NOW. Which is to say they turn into wolves (but like, still human shaped. Not werewolves!)

NUE: Flip the switch LEFT or RIGHT? He's got a 50/50 chance of turning off the security gas before it gets him or had worse affects on the others.]
