Re: 2 - CITY CREW
...that being said, we should make our way towards the big building in the distance.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
Let’s get our bearings together and go.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
So let's go!
[She says, tugging her hood even further down]
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
His eyes are forward but his ears are open, in case they hear any more gossip on the way there. ]
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
THANKFULLY going toward the big building seems to be the best move, cuz...everyone is! There's SUCH a crowd near the entrance, with a bunch of wolves, both feral and humanoid, manning set up tables, trying to calm everyone as they try to sort out what everyone needs:
We need fresh food! We all can't eat meat like you guys!
My son is lost in the mist! Have you found him?!
Help, my wife was bit by the King! We need a mask!!
When can we leave? Where's the one in charge?!
Just a slew of worries and complaints. Also notably, with this many people, it's suddenly clear not all of them are sheep or wolves, literally. Some how scales on their arms or reptilian tails, others have antlers or rabbit ears.
Meanwhile, the glass double doors leading into the building are blocked by two wolves in sunglasses and suits because of course they are.
Somehow they'll have to find a way in.]
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
I think we have a few options... The front door is way too guarded, so we can try to go around back and see if there's a back entrance or some kind of maintenance door, or...
...we find a way to cause some kind of riot out front to distract the guards, and then try to get in through the front door. There's a pretty big crowd, it might not be too difficult to stir them into a frenzy.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
I brought my animal beanie. I could do it and then change so they can't catch me?
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
[ She curls a hand against her chin, thinking. ]
It's probably safer to think of something that would actually terrify them—the crowd already seems pretty riled up, so we can't let them focus on one thing, y'know?
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
If you start a riot, the usual procedure for that is to completely lock down the area. Meaning, even if we get in we'll have a worse time trying to get out.
Could you at least let me try a little recon before we do it the Clover way?
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
If we can figure out how to give ourselves temporary animal parts, like those things have. [ He gestures to the furries. ] It doesn't really matter if it's wolf or not, apparently.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
[ SHE HATES TRYING TO BE STEALTHY ]
But how do we disguise ourselves like them? Using... one of those masks or something?
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
We still have the costume coin.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
THEY'RE ATTACHED TO MY HEAD!
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
You guys have gotten way too familiar with removing body parts.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
[ lovingly ruffles his little head ]
Okay, okay, how about this? While Warden is out doing a little recon for us, I can use our weird hat for a few minutes—maybe see if I can grab a few for us. May be a fat chance, but worth a shot…
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
We'll likely still need to use Warden's coin for a better disguise, but it's a start.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
[ She offers her hand; hat pls, Zenith. ]
I should go in looking like a wolf, right? I don't know if it matters, but...
[ A wolf in the literal wolves' den is about the best bet, she assumes. ]
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
You're gonna do great Spinel. If anyone's got this, you do.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
Then pass that luck onto me. I don't want to kicked in this crowd before I find a fire exit.
Re: 2 - CITY CREW
Try to go for wolf, and don't take too long.
