[probably he's bringing up the rear since he's their least melee fighter. keeping an eye on the opening above them also so he can snap a sunflower on real quick if wolves suddenly poke their noses in]

[letting all of the boys go first, since it sounded like they'd discussed taking the lead; he's got weapon and sunflowers drawn and ready, and stealth activated. even if it wasn't pitch darkness all around them, it'd be hard to see him.

he IS still holding onto the rope he tied to Cepheus, just in case he needs to yank him back at the first sign of a fight.]

[ Ananke's following after Cepheus, sunflower strapped to his back and ready to deploy the suit at a moment's notice. Since the darkness is so overwhelming, he's keeping his attention on Cepheus himself, alert for the slightest sign of distress ]

[ And Kevin is staying close to the front of the pack just behind Ananke, sword out and casting a faint violet glow. ]

[it's a long way down, easily at least 5-10 minutes if you're just climbing. . .but there's a reason for that.

Just as Cepheus hits the water, Kevin's night vision may pick up a keypad that's right next to the ladder a little before the bottom. It's a keypad......a security keypad.

And Cepheus did not hit it.

Suddenly there's a loud blaring noise, some dusty inconsequential, seemingly defunct lights struggling to come back to life and flash red.

Everyone present but Cepheus since he's already in the water, roll 1d10, post your results!!

The water itself has a gentle, but consistent current. Not strong enough to pull Cepheus along if he doesn't want it to, but fresh and not full of gunk, thankfully.]

since Cepheus is still tied to Lethe via the rope, Lethe is pretty much immediately giving it a little tiny tug to make sure he stays close to the ladder with the rest of them]

The ladder bolts seems be coming lose, and Ananke and Charon will find themselves falling off--or more likely Ananke is flying so like, maybe Charon falls off and against Ananke. IN ANY CASE, THROUGH CIRCUMSTANCE, they'll find themselves falling through a vent in the wall.

Just in time too, as a gas is briefly pumped into the area, and Kevin, Lethe, and Cepheus. . .

[AND AS CHARON AND ANANKE TUMBLE THROUGH THE VENT,

the spill out into a room! It's full of TVs. And a map.

They can see their teammates at the very bottom, and the water running along said rooms.]

[The 'sparkly' room is full of SOMETHING shiny, it's hard to tell from the television feed though.

They both can see the position of their flockmates, but also, and see the other rooms via security. There seems to be 3 Wolves in various locations as well.

Among the security equipment, there's a microphone. It looks like they can choose to project their voice to any room they choose, too.]

aside from the water, there IS a raised platform/walking area they can traverse on, but aside from being transformed, they're all perfectly fine.

That said, something in your head doesn't......want to go forward. Or do anything, really.
