Re: TEAM WOOF
Re: TEAM WOOF
All right. But. After that I wanna break something so bad.
Re: TEAM WOOF
I'd like to check out the last room more than I need to grab a few masks, if we're picking and choosing.
Re: TEAM WOOF
Re: TEAM WOOF
[he misses their ghosts SO BAD. but they have the materials anyway and can just. talk to the Holy Beasts.]
Let's check the final room first and break into this one on the way out. Kevin, you may also break the vending machine if you like.
Re: TEAM WOOF
If Scarab's scanners are going, they will actually pick up a LOT of bodies on the other side, most running away. . .evacuating?]
Re: TEAM WOOF
Well? Are we breaking it down or going another route? I'm open to alternatives. If we tell them it's a false alarm they might open the door for us.
Re: TEAM WOOF
Re: TEAM WOOF
It doesn't serve us to break into a space where we're outnumbered.
Scarab, Ananke, go back to the microphone room and use this dead wolf's voice. Tell them it was a false alarm. Refugees looking for a priest, not the Wolf King.
--take the corpse with you, if they open the door it will give us away.
Re: TEAM WOOF
Re: TEAM WOOF
Looks at Kevin.
Looks back at the corpse.]
I don't think anyone's gonna believe he's okay if you do. I'll just...take him...
[ Scoops it up and heads off to the security room to use the mic again.
Once in the security room he looks around to see if he can disable the alarms from here at all, but whether he can or not he flips the mic to broadcast to the 777 room, and Scarab surfaces to handle modifying his voice to match the dead guard's ]
False alarm!! It's not the wolf king! It's just some refugees that broke in looking for—a priest?
Re: TEAM WOOF
. . .
. . .
[a two way radio in the wolf's back pocket suddenly crackles to life]
Hey, [CENSORED], is that you? What's going on? The filing room has been incinerated!
Re: TEAM WOOF
Grabs the radio to respond and reaches out across Lethe's teacher skill to update the group on this new development ]
I know! One of them tried to get into it to find info on a priest, but they couldn't guess the password and the security system kicked in.
Re: TEAM WOOF
MENTAL THUMBS UP YOU'RE DOING GREAT]
Re: TEAM WOOF
also muttering to charon, ]
Shouldn't you be standing back a little, in case they open the door?
[ you are obviously human-shaped and, maybe more pressingly, Look Like Yourself And Everything ]
Re: TEAM WOOF
Whatever, have the intruders been apprehended? Are you okay? Ugh. Make sure they're restrained! Everyone's nearly evacuated, We'll unlock--
[sudden static]
Re: TEAM WOOF
Re: TEAM WOOF
If the jig isn't up, you can say you brought a sheep prisoner to identify the priest.]
Re: TEAM WOOF
But otherwise, nothing. Do they enter?]
Re: TEAM WOOF
If they're not opening the door then we might have to walk in on our own. Everyone good?]
Re: TEAM WOOF
reaching for that door handle though ]
Re: TEAM WOOF
I think we'll need to. Ananke--use your best judgement on whether to stay or move, but be ready to run with that body.]
Re: TEAM WOOF
And then, over the radio ]
I'm okay here. I gotta make sure the fire's out, but I'm sending them through to you.
1/2
they enter and.........
It's something resembling a literal underground casino. Huh. There are slots and tables and such all for entertainment purposes. Or that's what it looks like on first glance. They might notice there's no (known) currency at use, or even stand ins like poker chips and such. Things on the table include actual food, like bread or packs of meat or fresh vegetables. They'll also notice scattered belongings here and there. A jacket here, maybe a scarf. It looks like the people who were evacuated were done so in a hurry.
More immediate though, to their attention, is the dozen or so security wolves staring at them with utter confusion. Like the security they had faced up til now, some have masks, the power of which keeping the ink-like ooze on their fur in place, while others are just, y'know. Normal wolf furries in suits. Judging by how they all look the Lily 'wolves' up and down with bafflement, they're clearly on guard, guns drawn, unfamiliar, but not ready to pump them full of lead yet.
They all look between each other tensely, before a flatscreen tv on the wall flickers on. The wolves immediately all turn their heads toward it, ears perked up in attention.]
2/2
His attention seems to be focused solely on Charon, and he sneers.]
Well. At least it isn't Clover.
[he stares even harder.
Lethe, Kevin, and Cepheus will hear an incredibly hard to resist order in their heads as their bodies move on their own:
Kill the captured sheep. The Lily.
roll 1d10 - if 5 or lower, you can't resit at all. If 6-9, you still are compelled to attack but can control it somewhat. If a 10, Charon can counter-order you.
And then Ceo speaks outloud.]
If they resist, take them out. I don't believe those are refugees.
