The flash immediately throws off his aim with a howl, but he does get two blind shots out, so like, look out for those!.]

[while the wolf is distracted by Scaranke's flash and demigod distractions, Lethe transforms into a cat and zips past the wolf, turns back into a furry (gloves on! no touching Forever Scales directly, we've learned this from Cepheus) and slaps some scales right onto the back of the wolf's head]

[ meanwhile we're going to raise a brief wall of water to try to catch/absorb those stray shots before they hiT anyone ]

[ Settles into a defensive position near Charon, charging up a non-lethal energy blast in case Lethe's attempt fails again ]

fun facts since they're all here and have a clear look at this wolf, especially after that flashbang.

This wolf isn't wearing a mask.

What does that mean? Mystery! But it doesn't matter, as Lethe shoves a bunch of scales at him all at once. And it they work about as predicted, but slightly different on someone actually from this world. Immediately he cries out, half is body and fur greying, aging, decaying exponentially, other parts of him seeming younger, an eye looking larger and child-like. Old wounds open up from his body beneath his suit, new skin and fur grows over others. He frantically waves the gun around, getting out two, three more shots, before his paws are too shriveled to hold it anymore.

Soon, his body is a contorted mess of forms he's experienced his whole life and what could be in the future. He's still alive, but only barely.]

puts the scales back in the pack. we're saving those. he does Not have any healing items in him, just first aid that won't do much for...this poor guy.
