ANYWAY, INTO THE OCEAN THEY GO. Though the initial crash of the waves is cold, they'll find that under the water it's quite warm, even comfortable since they've taken more appropriate forms! Most bigger fish stay away from the shallows, since as demonstrated, that guarantees becoming a quick meal, but the ocean shallows are full of other life--starfish, coral, bundles of seaweed, crabs (both normal ones and the fuzzy sheep crab versions.) and clams and such. It's a really beautiful sight, really.

The further out, or deeper, they go, that's when the ocean really opens with schools of fish and even sea turtles! Normal jellyfish float by without a care, and even an eel or two wriggles by, possibly double taking at the bigger eel in the party. With all this life, it feels like someone might break into song. Wait, do you feel like singing? Hm. Well you can probably resist it for now.

Oh, there is an underground cave there, but those in the know probably already know where that leads to. Where are they headed?]

his blue lighthouse is pops into visibility next to him, casually taking pictures of all the undiscovered fauna as he glides along. he doesn't seem too surprised at any of it -- did y'all know that his canon's essentially a glorified fish tank? he frowns a little as the urge to sing creeps up on him, but doesn't comment. instead, he signals to the cave, looking around for mister bigger eel ]

Yo, Levi. This is the cave you've talked about, right? The one that leads back to the pasture?

[ kaveh might not be breaking into song but he IS humming. it's gorgeous down here!! so he's looking here and there and getting all sorts of inspiration. he wishes he thought to bring a kamera, not that he has one, but he could have tried getting one. as it stands he'll have to rely on his memory and mehrak... who is clearly distracted trying to collect shells. ] Tempo, don't wander too far.

If it leads back to the pasture, then where does it let out?

[Resist singing? Muffin? He's a songbird gryphon, he's absolutely singing as soon as the urge strikes him. If someone can understand birdsong, there's pertinent information mixed in, like their coordinates or sightings of potentially injurious animals like jellyfish. He's a professional scout! But it's all in happy musical twitterings.

He's swooping around the school of mer, taking in the sights and sometimes darting off to snag a tasty-looking snack for himself or Angel Devil.]

[deeper you go~ fish make way for you, and curiously enough you don't see any like. . .bigger predators. Sure jellyfish and other smaller fish eat each other, and some birds may hunt skimming the water's surface, but. Sharks? Whales? Seals? There's nothing of the sort. . .

But more urgently, the deeper you go, that urge to sing? It intensifies. In fact, it's so distracting you may stop in your tracks confused--wait, you can't go any further until you sing. Sing a truth, a feeling, a want. . .you have to let the sea know.]
