[ leon's song ( with tempo joining in ) is driving him CRAZY, as apparently intended. kaveh's got his hands over his ears to drown them out, but the muffled silence(ish) makes him realize that the urge to sing a song of his own is bubbling up again. he panics, but all that panic instantly dissolves when he catches sight of wanderer. ]

[ He might have once been called the "Balladeer" but this entire ordeal is horrible and he hates every second of it. He'd been doing a very good job avoiding the urge to sing as well as the rest of the group... up until Kaveh catches his eye.

[Their voices resound through the ocean, and it feels like an invisible barrier has been shattered. They can move forward/go deeper!

But, there is still another song, a faint one. It's not coming from any of them though.]

You can't place it precisely, but....if you keep searching, keep swimming, after a long while, the water will start to get murky. It seems the voice (?) is coming from the mist.]

[Well Levi needs a moment to catch his breath after all of that, but he's also memorizing that new song if he can.

Then his eyes wander hungrily to the spectating fish...]

[ He's not going to be singing again ever again after that, so he leaves that song to the other's memories.

But he points his sad drowned sunflower towards the mist, in hopes that it might still work. ]

[Without actually being in the mist, the sunflower doesn't do much, its light being refracted through the water, but hey, it's pretty! The fish scatter, unless they get snapped up by some hungry party members. It seems the fish, and other sea life, is more and more sparse the closer they get the mist, knowing something is in there. Any scanners will pick up that most sealife is keeping the hell away, but telling what may be through the mist is useless. . .

Still, when Angie sends out a telepathic message, the singing briefly stops. He doesn't get a response, but soon all of them will hear a voice, crackled, distorted.]
