But you're here instead. The sea seems relatively calm today, though you can see the wall of mist far, far in the distance still. Well, surely this won't go sour. Better get any last minute prep done!]

[ as much of a 'plan' as this is. time to whip out the tail! it's not massive like it is in canon, but it's just about large enough for everyone to comfortably fit on. ]

[Also takes a sunflower. He unties a bit of ribbon on the end of his staff (where he's also attached his magipen for the time being) and ties it on that way.

Then he grabs onto a tail and wraps the end of his own around it for a tighter grip.]

Try to keep a tight hold on the tail, but don't worry too much about falling off. I can keep us all attached [ i.e. stuck to the tail with flow control ] if it comes to it.

I'll have my hands tied - metaphorically speaking - when it comes to combat, but I trust in our collective firepower.

[barnacles onto the tail and copies levi's idea of wrapping his own tail around it. a shark's not as bendy as an eel, but!]

[ he takes a sunflower and fastens it to his belt. he’s got to keep a hold of tempo somehow, so he’s hoping that he can keep his grip on fifi’s tail with just the one… until idea! he uses his dendro to manipulate some nearby seaweed to act as undersea vines!! he’ll use them to double fasten himself to fifi. ]

[ yeah alright this isn't the most ridiculous thing they've done today, so he'll attach himself to the tail too let's go. ]

[ thanks for the vote of confidence, Cloverlord. he jumps onto the front of the tail, tying himself with rope to whoever's behind him. time to barge headfirst into a massive trap! ]

All right. Count of three, then. One... two... three.

[ sunflower raised in front of him, he propels the tail carriage forward into the misty depths toward the voice. ]

Wxxt! No! Bx carxxul--!

[INTO THE UNKNOWN THEY GO, or rather, the mist. Just like on land, they're immediately met with both howls and whispers of despair, a dizzying, disorienting sensation, none them can tell which way is up, down, left, or right. Are they swimming toward the surface or toward the depths? It's impossible to tell.

The light of the sunflowers. . .offer little relief. Being in the water, there's not much ground to see, so their illuminations only reveal more dark, misty water.

Oh, and the shadow-like shark beelining toward them, jaws open, lined with fangs. It's easily the size of a normal wolf, just faster and sleeker. In fact there seems to be a pack of sharks swimming toward them, their shadowy fins cutting through the mist occasionally. The voice screams--]

Yxxll get lost!! Txxy can't hear xx!

[Levi thinks he could probably take one shark. Maybe two. But that's a lot of sharks. They need a moment to react.

He casts a barrier around the group. He can't keep it up long, but maybe it'll give everyone a chance to get prepared.]

Sharks, up ahead! They know we're here!

[ while Levi casts his barrier, Akrinak puts the tail at an angle where the ranged fighters can attack while he maintains the stability of their ride. also shines his sunflower at the sharks in an attempt to blind them.

to the strange voice: ]

Hey, can you see us? We're travelers! Who's 'they'?

[ he's assuming 'txxy' is 'they', at least. ]

[ Scarab leaves dealing with the voice to the rest of the squad and activates the suit, taking a brief second to shift the armor on one hand into the barrel of an energy blaster so he can fire a broad energy beam at the nearest shark ]

[ kaveh keeps a firm hold on tempo as he swings his chainsaw recklessly at the oncoming shadow shark. it's a little awkward to maneuver the sunflower to cast light in its direction for the tool box to be able to take advantage, but he somehow manages. ]

[the bolt thrower isn't the greatest ranged weapon but when the shark gets close enough you can bet it's getting a bolt or two in the face]

[ He fires out several windblades in quick succession towards the biggest shark, cutting through the water with swirling force. ]

"Travelers"? [ He scoffs. ] We're not just passing through! What else is out here?

[Using some water magic to take movement away from the sharks if he can, pulling some together with a strong current.]
