NPC CALL OUT POST

Here, if an NPC isn't around in a post in a main comm, you can hit them up for quests or general questions!

BLOSSOM

Unless noted here, she can be found practically anywhere within the pasture, usually with a big book or trying to help or pacify sheep. ETA POST BABY GAME Blossom can't be contacted! Stormy is in charge--if asked he'll say she's working on shit.

Stormy

He is not as visibly present as Blossom, and may brush you off! But if Blossom is around he's usually Some Where, even if it's not obvious.

Daisy

Daisy is only ever found in her ice cream parlor. Where does she go at night? Mystery. Note: Currently Daffodil has exclusive access to her butter supply, and Clover has exclusive access to her cream. If you want any of these items, you need to ask them! Bluebell and Rose also knows where to find natural salts.

Coco

A mysterious cat found in an underground maze. She currently guards a chamber full of rations, and occasionally distributes a small amount of corn, rice/grains, breads, special root vegetables, and chocolate/coffee. Currently only Daffodil can access the area. ETA As of Day 27 Coco can be found in a little building outside of the fence!! Only Daffodil currently can get inside still, but people can see and talk to her from the windows.

Red

Red's shop is open from sunrise to sunset! He's more than willing to chat and barter. Do not try to talk to him at night. ETA AS OF DAY 31, RED IS MIA. There is a sign on the door that says "Taking Time Off :) If Emergency, ask BS or use your Sheep Rites!"

The Snake

The Snake is a mysterious little entity with a grudge against Blossom! He will only willingly appear for Weeds, but others may have a chance to glimpse him. . .


To call out an NPC, just comment with the time and day and you'll receive a response!

Well, I'm not your boss, so it's up to you. My only suggestion is don't be like Patches. Patches is a universally hated psychopath who tries to set kids on fire with his weird pyrotechnic skills. He does NOT represent us, and the Snake definitely doesn't like what he's doing. If you see him, run.

Okay, cause mischief, but don't be too obvious that you're causing mischief because someone told you to cause mischief. We don't want to betray the Snake's real motives.

...But the real target is a pink sheep named Blossom. Either directly, or turning people against her.

I'm... pretty sure it's genuine animosity. In fact, don't let the Snake hear that, I think he's at his wits end with some of us already.

But, if you can insult her and get away with it, he really likes that! Just watch out for Stormy... he's sort of an 'enforcer'. All brawn, no brain. Wants to hurt us.

Don't worry, my lips are sealed! There's many people in this world whose feelings are too complicated to just call out like that, after all. Or... ah... "many people in MY world," I guess.

What's Stormy look like? Is it, perhaps... a know if I see him type thing?

Blossom is a pink-fleeced sheep. Stormy is a black-fleeced ram. He'll also threaten to turn you to ash with his magic.

I haven't tried, but apparently he can back up his threats. Do not engage!

You definitely cannot save your game.

If the statue eye was closed, you could be revived after death, but as it is now... if you die in the game, you die in real life.

Okay, you can be revived if your body is in tact more or less, because your 'soul' is being pulled out of the underworld and crammed back into your body. So if you get swallowed whole, that's a problem.

But, there's a means to grow body parts and even an entire extra body to replace any limbs you lose or your entire body. It just takes a while and some blood sacrifice.

But again, that only matters when the eye is closed. It's open now. That means perma-death.

Modern technology is really amazing...! Perhaps one day, even monsters than need to prey on people to survive will be able to wander up to the supermarket to buy nominally ethically sourced dinner ingredients just like the rest of us...!

Not that you'd want to eat human flesh in the first place.

I may be just an ordinary maid, but I like to think I'm tougher than I look! ...on the inside. Actually, I don't get that much exercise. I take the car to get groceries and practice sedentary hobbies in my off hours.

...Not really for self defense, even that wouldn't do ME much good. I'm just a "high spec in unforgettable luncheons" type maid. What's Final Boss-sama's lunch hour policy, anyway? Is there a catering cart of darkness I should look for?

Um. Personally I go around and steal food. Or ask for handouts.

I mean, there are ways to grow food, or fish, or even hunt, but that's taking time away from mischief-making.

Every flock has a tree outside their barn with fruit growing from it. Some of the flocks have defenses around it. Some of them don't. Some are very vigilant and will get on your case about taking them without asking. Some of them aren't.

It's kind of touch and go. Bluebell has this wide moat around their barn, but the actual people are generally nice enough to just give you blueberries if you ask.

Of course, a handful of blueberries isn't going to get you very far.

You think it's bad enough I couldn't convince some flockfolk to let an experienced pro chef make them food in exchange for some modest maidenly-sized take-home portions?

Actually, that sounds like a really great thing to offer them! But, I don't think most people have full stocked kitchens, so you'll have to really improvise. Salt and pepper is sort of a luxury.

Also, a flock you've already bothered is going to be really wary of you. --See? You have to balance your trust at the same time.
