LET'S HAVE A DREAMY DAY AT THE DREAM DEPOT!

And another line is written under it, but it's in that language that only shepherds can interpret. Still--it's definitely a factory of sorts?? Just much smaller. Think of a daycare if the daycare was also a small business.]

I don't know what this is, it's completely different from most relics we've come across. But there's a strange magic coming from it.

...a dream depot. [ hm. well, he can't read the writing beneath, but he wonders if they can take advantage of it being a dream depot. ] Do you know what day dreaming is, John? Have you ever done it before? I wonder if we can use this place's magic...

I know the concept of dreams, though I don't have any. Is it dangerous?

[leading him to a room. It says Recipe Room]

It's dreaming... but when you're awake. I guess you could also kind of call it lucid dreaming. I was just wondering if maybe we could just this dream factory to dream up some... help? But maybe that's not a good id... ea... [ recipe room. going to poke around it. ] Tempo, stay close.

This place is... weird. Did they make dreams here? From... scratch?? [ can he find any recipes? ]

[No recipes; there are some books but they're old and decrepit, crumbling to dust if touched. The room itself looks something like a grade school chemistry class. A mix of cute and SCIENCE.

THE CLOUD...tho small and grey, now turns pink and blue. like cotton candy.

John frowns.]

Is that normal?

Normal for, what, for this place? Or... [ because normal for here and normal for, like, anywhere else is two totally different things. ]

I'm not sure though. [ he hesitantly reaches out to it. ] Tempo if something happens I want you to stay with John.

[he has so many bladed weapons!!

But as Fantasia's hand nears it--he feels a tug. Nothing physical, but a feeling. The cloud is a vessel, but so empty, just like this ashen place.

It feels as if he could infuse it with anything he desired. Like a dream.]

...you're not the one that needs babysitting. [ tempo revs his chainsaw. ] Tempo. [ eyes john like HE DOES. YOU SAW WHAT HE DID TO THE DOOR. ]

John, I think we might be able to use this. [ he reaches a hand out to him. ] But we need to do this together, okay? And we both need to focus incredibly hard. What did you want to accomplish out here? [ he looks at the cute little cloud. ] We're going to try to infuse your dream into this cloud.

[tempo you are a MENACE--!

john puts his little gem hooves on the table to peek over better]

What--what I want to do? What do you mean? I just. . .don't want to be a disappointment.

And help people. Like you all do.

…John. [ paffs. ] You are not a disappointment. I think you’re being too hard on yourself. Don’t you remember how we braved the mist, found Wolfsbane, outran the Wolf King, and saved your dad. Does that sound like something a disappointment who can’t help anybody would do… I don’t think so.

I owe you a lot. We all do. I just wish you could see the way I see you.

[ but, ok!, let’s try to infuse this cotton candy cloud with the dream of reviving this ‘pasture’! ]

looks away slightly, perhaps a little red.]

I was only doing what my Father said to do. On my own, I clearly can't do much.

[nothing happens to the cloud yet--gotta be SPECIFIC!! GIVE DETAILS OF THIS DREAM]

[ smiles. ] …me neither. But together, John, we can do anything. I need your help. We need to dream the perfect dream.

[ …instilled with confidence from a bunch of love happy bluebells john realizes that the power to be the change he wants to see was inside of him all along! he glows radiantly enough to dispel the mist surrounding the area, and each hoofstep taken breathes life into the formerly dying area. patches of grass start to grow and tiny flowers start to bud… fantasia lends his own power of dendro and hydro to help the process along, the pasture turning over a new leaf - literally! but what did it really need, …a little tlc, which bluebell had in excess, so they can all pour their hearts into the resurgence of the area! but john, john is the catalyst at the center of it all. ]

[WELL THAT DOES SOMETHING

the cloud expands, now about half the size of the table. And with the charm he imbued it with, Fantasia can actually feel his own love radiating from the cloud. For a brief moment, the class itself starts to bloom--vines and flowers creeping up between the cracks before disappearing in a shimmering light.

John's eyes glimmer briefly.]

Fantasia. . .what is your dream?

[ that’s kind of sad… ]

[ feeling his own cloud is a bit of a trip, but it makes it that much easier to focus on his ‘dream’… which he’ll relay to john. ]

[ get loved and appreciated, ~~bitch~~ john. ]

It, it’s working… I can’t believe it’s working. [ come on come on… going to dream the hell out of this dream!!! ]

[IT'S SURE DOING SOMETHING. And then. . .]
