HERD MENTALITY, SHEEP RITES, and Item Regains

So what is Herd Mentality?
Herd Mentality is the power that restores life to the pasture! It's flocks cooperating together to build a cohesive identity to influence this world and the sheep within. It is also the main way for characters to furnish their barns and get new outfits!

OOCly, this is the main IC motivation for characters to interact with their team! Off team CR is also more than encouraged of course, but as a team game, it's important to play and interact with your team!

What Counts as Herd Mentality?
Any sort of cooperative team interaction and group activities, OR Sheep Rites! This includes but isn't limited to hunting quests, playing games together, gardening, silly group activity posts, etc. Herd Mentality doesn't have to be conscious either; it's entirely okay for things to count as HM even if the character didn't intend it to be so.

What are Sheep Rites?
Sheep Rites are specific themed activities teams can do for herd mentality; a flock's specialty Rite is listed on the Flocks page! For Rites specifically:
1) To count as herd mentality, 2-3 flock members need to participate in the rite. However, the bigger the item you are are trying to manifest, the more teammates you need. (example: just getting more clothes? 2 or 3 people. Wanting a nice king sized bed for everyone or a whole ass basic security system? 5-6 members. Tap me if you’re not sure!)

2)Other flocks can participate in your Rites, but won’t earn anything from them.

3)Flocks can still gain herd mentality from other tasks (like a group hunt or a group boss fight), these are just some solid activities they can do anytime that count!

OOC Info here!

What can Characters Manifest with general Herd Mentality?
Furniture, decor, additional outfits, accessories and small trinkets are all okay for characters to create on their own! The item will just poof into existence where it needs to be! Example: Bluebell wanted a piano, so did some group bonding and bam, piano get.

If performing a Sheep Rite, you can also earn low grade personal and barn upgrades (like soundproofing or locks and such). If you perform a BIG RITE (like a whole ass party post or something), ping me, as you may earn a Special Thing.

What items can we get from RED?
Go to Red if you want any sort of reliable WEAPON, TOOL, OR SPECIAL ITEM FROM HOME.
You can also handwave getting any trivial, inconsequential item from his shop including: writing utensils, markers, notepads, glitter, gum, etc.

What items cannot be regained via NPC quests?
Generic pets, food, and clothing! Neither Red nor the others will give players pets that non-canonical (so you can't say can I get a cute kitty cat), though they can go out and tame wild animals if they want. Food also is off the table (aside from small non-substantial candy from Red's shop), and clothing can just be earned by characters themselves.

How Can We Upgrade Our Barns?
Major housing upgrades can be won via games OR by asking Red, Blossom, or Stormy for a deal/quest. These will usually be more involved than normal item quests!

What about New Buildings?
If asked, the mindless sheep will build a TEMPORARY version of any recreational building you could ask for; for example, say your character wants to do a skating party for, some fucking reason. The sheep will build a skating rink for them, all accessories included, so it can used for the skating party post. However, after a few hours ICly, it will disappear/crumble.

Also, emphasis on 'recreational!' They will not be able build anything remotely useful, like food establishments, or a laundry or spa building.

New PERMANENT locations will be added as the results of games won! And those CAN include more useful buildings. More on that as it develops.

What about the Fountain Coins?
The prizes regained via Fountain Coins will vary depending on the game! But they will typically be more valuable, and include things like the above, getting new buildings and such. However, no matter what, you can always still use your coin to share memories.

Are there ANY other food sources?
Daisy knows where to find all the specialized resources in the pasture! So you can ask her for salt and such. She also provides all dairy for the pasture and will barter it for work.

SOMETHING I MISSED? ASK AWAY.

Who trades salt? OR what creature do we need to wrestle to obtain it?
