NPC CALL OUT POST

Here, if an NPC isn't around in a post in a main comm, you can hit them up for quests or general questions!

BLOSSOM

Unless noted here, she can be found practically anywhere within the pasture, usually with a big book or trying to help or pacify sheep. ETA POST BABY GAME Blossom can't be contacted! Stormy is in charge--if asked he'll say she's working on shit.

Stormy

He is not as visibly present as Blossom, and may brush you off! But if Blossom is around he's usually Some Where, even if it's not obvious.

Daisy

Daisy is only ever found in her ice cream parlor. Where does she go at night? Mystery. Note: Currently Daffodil has exclusive access to her butter supply, and Clover has exclusive access to her cream. If you want any of these items, you need to ask them! Bluebell and Rose also knows where to find natural salts.

Coco

A mysterious cat found in an underground maze. She currently guards a chamber full of rations, and occasionally distributes a small amount of corn, rice/grains, breads, special root vegetables, and chocolate/coffee. Currently only Daffodil can access the area. ETA As of Day 27 Coco can be found in a little building outside of the fence!! Only Daffodil currently can get inside still, but people can see and talk to her from the windows.

Red

Red's shop is open from sunrise to sunset! He's more than willing to chat and barter. Do not try to talk to him at night. ETA AS OF DAY 31, RED IS MIA. There is a sign on the door that says "Taking Time Off :) If Emergency, ask BS or use your Sheep Rites!"

The Snake

The Snake is a mysterious little entity with a grudge against Blossom! He will only willingly appear for Weeds, but others may have a chance to glimpse him. . .


To call out an NPC, just comment with the time and day and you'll receive a response!

Keeheehee! They'd be far more expensive if that were the case!

Well. . . a few members of my team and I followed a mysterious anonymous creature into the fog last night.

They guided us to a pathway through the mist that led to a cave with a demon ram inside.

You went into the fog? My my, you're lucky to be alive! I heard a rumour, it's pretty dangerous out there.

What kind of things live out in the fog, according to your rumor? Besides the ram demon.

Why shadowy beasts that can tear you limb from limb! Losing an arm or leg here coud be a death sentence, y'know.

It's always the weakest of the pack who get culled first, keeheehee!

Implying that there's going to be more culling in the future?

Hypothetically speaking, why would a sheep want to wander off into the fog to pay a visit to the ram demon?

A ram demon.

But that is a question! No sheep leaves the pasture. Not alive, anyway.

[his expression twists at that, but he smooths it out pretty quickly]

Let me rephrase, then: what about a Shepherd?

[wooliefrand]

Keeheehee! You're getting better at asking questions.

When a Shepherd wanders off, it's usually to seek help.

[his lips twitch a bit at that, before the smile fades]

From a ram demon.

[not THE ram demon. he's still distressed there may be MORE THAN ONE]

But help isn't given without an offering. Which. . . is usually a sacrifice from that Shepherd's flock?

It depends on what's bein' asked for, pardner! You wouldn't pay a price that steep if you just need a fence painted, righto?

The demon we met offered to clear the fog for one sacrifice from my "flock."

What else could they hypothetically do? And-- are there more than just ram demons out there?

[wooliefrand]

Hmmm? You ain't an imaginative fella, are ya? You could ask for all sorts of things, from all sorts of demons.

But it's up to a leader to truly determine if it's worth the price.

Sheep don't leave the pasture unless they're dead, and Shepherds leave to forge deals with demons.

What about those who are neither sheep nor Shepherd? Why would they leave the pasture?

Keeheehee, if that's what you got out of it, sure.

As for that last question. . .why indeed!

[IF THAT'S WHAT HE GOT OUT OF IT. . . which says to him that there's more to it, but he doesn't know how to get to that point]

Presumably, non-sheep and non-Shepherds also have business with the demons in the mist. So they can make deals with them, too.

. . . which makes me wonder. . . what those non-sheep want badly enough to work alongside a demon.
