INTO THE UNKNOWN
WHO: Some Sheep
WHERE: The Beach (and beyond??)
WHEN: TBD
[IT'S A (probably) NICE DAY AT THE BEACH. YOU COULD BE DOING SO MUCH RIGHT NOW. LOUNGING. HUNTING. FRIENDSHIP. COURTING??
But you're here instead. The sea seems relatively calm today, though you can see the wall of mist far, far in the distance still. Well, surely this won't go sour. Better get any last minute prep done!]

Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
also there is an entire metallic beetle the size of this kid's face sitting on his head making the same insectile "cursing" sounds Scarab was making mere minutes ago ]
Are we alive?

Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
[ did someone lose a child? ]
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
I think you're scarin' Scarab.
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
Pii pi. [ tempo comes over to look at ananke and scarab. ]
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
[ Turns his head this way and that like there's any chance of actually getting to look at the cranky bug on top of his head ]
He's sayin'...he's not s'posed to be out? It's bad if his mon'toring systems are dis...dis.......turned off. Maybe he'll feel better if we go back t'Lily.
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
[ At least Ananke seems perfectly content to be carried regardless of Scarab's opinion. ]
Is everyone else okay?

Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
Can you sense Angel Devil in the Nothing? Levi can't sense him in the living world.
[ wait ]
— But if you can, don't pull him back. He'd want to be revived in his real body.
[ wherever that is. ]
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
...but his body's back there.
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
He teleported. I saw it; I'm sure of it. He... likely knew he was about to die, so chose to transport his body to a place of safety. He wouldn't allow himself to lose it.

Idk how much will get thru since I'm unfamiliar with how far the ghostwhispering goes but:
For someone so freshly departed, the remnant spirit seems strangely at ease in the Nothing, with the air of someone who hasn't slept in a long, long time collapsed on a bed.
...but there's an occasional stir of unease about something. Worried about how they're doing, maybe? It's difficult to tell, because the blank, endless wash of the Nothing provides Angie with a very effective distraction. ]
Re: Idk how much will get thru since I'm unfamiliar with how far the ghostwhispering goes but:
Ananke on the other hand reaches out very carefully to give Angie's soul a comforting touch. There's not a real way to communicate directly without dragging him closer, but he tries his best to convey gentle reassurance and warmth from this distance. ]

Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
Ananke?
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
[ As much as he seems to remember everyone and sheep in general, he's still going wide-eyed with child-like alarm when he spots him ]
Are you okay?!
Re: THE WHIRLPOOL
—fine, I'm fine. Don't worry about me.
Are you? You're . . .

[ Reaches up to try to pat the anger bug up there. He barely brushes its legs. ]
We got taken 'part.

Scarab says he can't...uh...can't keep me safe like this. But I'm too little now.
