I thought Styx knew about your... energy reserves. You two have a chemistry that surpasses how long you two have actually been together. I assumed and blurted out private medical information that I shouldn't have.

... I'm not ashamed, really—I think Styx deserved to know—but I know it was wrong to simply assume.

And then I was clueless when you two fought and made everything worse... really, helping bolster your power was the least I could do.

No one of us is responsible for getting him back any more than the others. If anything, Blossom's mostly to thank, but I'm too pissed at her to do it, so I refuse.

You have the strongest mental powers, I'm quite sure... and you'll just have to accept that I want you safe even when I'm mad at you, so obviously I would help.

I asked Blossom if she knew how to give me that power again, as I feared we might need it to check on Charon's well-being. She suggested it may have still been locked away... thus why she suggested that I hold onto one of those crystal lilies from the fountain, and to hold it tight when I needed to use that power. She was right.

It's similar to your power and Lethe's. I usually use it for "therapy" for my people, allowing others into my mind so they could have a respite from theirs.

( looks at him quizzically, but allows him to take his hand. the pasture's healing means it's scarred over - the first and possibly only real scar he has on his body aside his back. )
