Blood is better than dust, because dust would make me sneeze~ ( talking to himself!! because!!! he gotta!!!!! ) If this place is as old as it smells like, it's probably full of dust in reality~

it's a goddamn maze in here. you have a sense at least of consistent downward movement, like you're heading deep underground. your light crosses small office doors set at regular intervals as you turn and walk and turn again, but all of them are unlabelled. some have suspicious marks on them now and again though: dark stains, bullet holes, great splintering gouges from blades or claws.]

eventually the footprints fade out. they haven't led you to a definitive door, just the middle of a random hallway, so you might feel stymied for a moment.
