The book itself is quite thick, and has some sort of lock keeping it shut tight. It has the emblem of some sort of bird on it, a crow. And despite obviously being a lock, there's no keyhole. Huh!

But not just the TV. The roof. Upper floor. Basement. Doors. The entire mansion is rigged. And that blowback is HARD. Enjoy the shockwave!
When the dust settles, the whole place is leveled. The hidden cave nearby has also collapsed in. They can still teleport to this spot in the future, but there's no more to be gained from the remains of the mansion.
