Most of it is jumbled at the moment, but -- I was kept aware of what was around me, yes.

The demon who took me was the ram demon -- the one Thistle attacked. He was badly damaged, but not dead. Blossom was trying to void her deal with him; I approached at the wrong moment, and he took me as some kind of...replacement, with interest, for his destroyed collection.

He offered me to that other demon. I believe they were an estranged couple, and he was attempting to get back into her good graces...? She refused his advances but accepted the gift.

So he abducted you for some...fucked up deal, and used you to try to hook up?

[ There's a rare, icy edge of malevolence creeping into his tone ]

Believe you me, I'm not against hunting that one down later.

...I didn't really think about it before I had Scarab. When I was little sometimes my friends and I would play pretend, but we were always stopping aliens or a human with super powers or something. Rescuing people and then flying away to celebrate in our "secret base" and stuff.

[ Dryly ] If we have a party now, it'd be a little bit like that.

If Aides is allowed to ground me into spa relaxation, am I theoretically allowed to ground others into celebrating at a secret base...?

I don't think that's how grounding normally works, but we can make an exception in this case.

I like the sound of that. Both Daffodil and Bluebell already offered to help us out with anything we might need when you're back, so we've got no excuses to go anywhere.
