Re: THE GARDEN
What use do you have for a gold statue in the first place?

Re: THE GARDEN
But you're right. Three days is hardly a minute to my kind, though it does brighten up this oh so drab atmosphere. But what is three days to all of you? Are you truly so attached to a mortal you barely know, so much so you'd risk all your lives.
[a hand to her jaw, giggling]
Men are just. . .so cute.
[she sets aside her teacup and 'stands'. Dry, brittle roots rise up, ensnaring Charon's statue, in case they get any ideas on ganking it and running.]
But now there's an interesting question. Would I like something else? Usually I'd say you're in no position to haggle. . .but I'm quite bored, you see.
So. Show me why I shouldn't keep my new water spout.
[A raise of her hand, and then sharp bones sprout from the ground with the intent to impale. Watch your step!]
Re: THE GARDEN
He grabs the hand of whoever's closest to him and flies straight up, and with Scarab still tethered to the baby leash it's just going to drag anyone still holding on along ]
First you steal my shepherd, and now you attack my flock?!
Re: THE GARDEN
Well thankfully there are more flight-capable people on this baby leash than otherwise.
SCOOPING STYX UP IN A PRINCESS CARRY AND TAKING OFF TOO ]
Hey, hey, weren't we having a nice calm conversation?!
Re: THE GARDEN
it does make it easier to tuck the sunflower into his shirt and hold up his left hand--right still has gun, naturally.]
Here's a nice conversation: YA FEELIN' BORED?
[there may be some additional ground rumblings, like the earth threatening to tear itself apart.]
HOW 'BOUT... HAND HIM OVER, OR YOUR GARDEN GETS A COMPLETE REMODEL?
Re: THE GARDEN
If you're looking for entertainment this badly you should invest in a few books, or a television. I can promise you that Netflix has a few centuries worth of shows you can get through.
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
- well, didn't you say he was a bit tacky?
Did you make this garden, madam?
Re: THE GARDEN
OKAY I GUESS. GETS READY TO CAST A THING ]
Re: THE GARDEN
[the bones retract once they're all in the air, with brittle, thorny vines rising up behind her, ready to whip at them. She laughs and tilts her head at Ananke.]
You seem more of a boy than a man, but my, you are are impressive. Your flock? Do you not have a real family?
Of course, if you do think you can destroy my quaint quiet place without hurting your golden friend. . .
Do try.
[The vines whip out, lashing at them, and trying to sever the, baby leash they're all tied to.]
Re: THE GARDEN
[BLOSSOM puts her hooves together, and slips out her harness. Suddenly her body hits the ground and stays there, limp.
But wait, was that a chill down your spine you just felt? Also, why can you hear her voice in your head? ]
HELLO I'M SORRY FOR THE INVASION OF PRIVACY I'M TEMPORARILY SEMI-POSSESSING ALL OF YOU SO YOU CAN MOVE AROUND
PLEASE KILL THE BITCH OR SAVE CHARON I DON'T CARE WHICH I CAN'T DO THIS FOR LONGER THAN A FEW MINUTES OKAY GO
Re: THE GARDEN
SUMMONS BIRDS SUMMONS A FLOCK OF FUCKED UP GREEK MYTH MONSTER BIRDS
gonna scoop up the sheep body while sending birds to steal a shiny object this is how we do it ]
Re: THE GARDEN
TIME TO FIRE A HUGE ELECTROBLAST AT THE VINES COMING FOR THEM and conveniently in the direction of the demon ]
Loving my flock doesn't mean my family doesn't matter!
Re: THE GARDEN
[cutting off the earthquakes and getting his gun readied.]
Think goin' for the tried and true method of dealin' with a skeletal bitch might be easier at this point.
Re: THE GARDEN
Dipping sharply to avoid the vines and bring him and Styx in closer range.
You Know What To Do ]
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
he also throws up a shield immediately; it won't cover everyone if they're all spread out, but it will stop the vines from severing the baby leash bits closest to him while he charges up his gun and attempts a headshot at our lovely demon lady]
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
Re: THE GARDEN
[The demon begins to laugh. And laugh and laugh and laugh and--
Perci's plant magic overpowers the demon's in the moment, turning her roots against her and ensnaring her. Also conveniently, ripping them from Charon's statue. ]
Oh, but I was so enjoying our chat! I get so few visitors your see. But honestly, can you all not multitask?
[bones sprout up to slash at the roots, freeing her, only to immediately get SHOT IN THE FACE but fucking gunslingers. Rude. The honeysuckle doesn't seem to dampen much, but the bones do seem to retract some, and she still can't regain control of the vines.
She laughs as the bullets rattle her skull though, raising another hand. . .
Just as that Electroblast overwhelms her.
(and probably a fireball or two from Chronos. Yay herd mentality).
The explosion is massive, sending debris everywhere, but it's unclear if she's destroyed.
ON THE PLUS SIDE, Charon seems free for the taking for Aides' birds or whoever else wants it. . .!]
