Roll Knowledge! If 5+, you can request the Gold Demon turn someone ELSE on the map into gold. Ping Ash; that person must roll Might. If 4+, only a limb or small area turns to gold. If less--you're solid gold til someone heals you! -3 Sanity!
If less than 5, you just laugh in the Gold Demon's face and leave.
